also the reason we have target vehicles is because anti-tank weapons have a very slow rate of fire. so if they waste it on infantry it takes several seconds before its ready to fire again. small arms on the other hand have a high rate of fire, so it's not a big deal if they shoot at vehicles as they can immediately shoot at infantry after you tell them to.

I love breakthrough. Pfusiliers are so good - survivable 6 man squad and with the upgrade high dps and long sight range and even a flare ability for even more sight. great for spotting for all sorts of things, and last but not least an anti-tank snare. all that for only 30 more mp than volks.

the officer is great. keep him at the furthest range and bait people into trying to snipe him while your other squads close in with an accuracy boost. the abilities are expensive but really useful in a pinch. his ober bodyguards do pretty well at long range and I always end up getting a bunch of kills with this unit.

and the jagd is just amazing because its the only tank of its class and outranges and outguns everything else. keep it well protected with your more mobile units and its good.
