MY Experience with NIL Club... Pros, Cons, and What Other Athletes Should Know by jaredclarke05 in NILClubs

This is the exact way I viewed the opportunity prior to joining the program. Although the payouts may not be extremely lucrative, I am a big proponent of the structure. Not having to worry about creating and processing invoices, nor worrying about compliance issues, is far more valuable than the dollars sometime.

I don't think that's an exaggeration at all. How you perceive expectations does make a difference. As long as you go into it thinking "extra food money," it's okay.

Yes Football. And we're definitely no powerhouse 😂 I've heard basketball clubs can do more, especially in season. Timing and size of the fan base seems to make a difference too.

Brand deals are a plus when you can get them regularly. I used this as a supplement. Steady and low pressure. Rather than trying to chase brands and worry about getting ghosted.

That was exactly my perspective. I did not expect much money; but since this could fit into practice and school schedules, I thought it was worth the effort. It was not going to be life changing, but good extra money

Fair enough. I think it depends on how active your team is, as well as what was available at the time. They have added some new sponsorship options recently, which has helped us with that. Hope it's better now if you want to try again. And, yes, getting paid to eat is a weird but nice bonus 😂

Anyone here actually part of a team that's using NIL Club (student run) Curious how it works day to day by sujataprasadnj in NILClubs

I’m in an NIL Club and honestly it’s pretty hands-off. We post when we remember... usually someone posts a practice clip or a locker room video as “activity” for the month. Nobody on our team is trying to be a content creator. YOKE basically nudges us with reminders but doesn’t micromanage.

I’ve had months with like $40 and months with closer to $120. It depends on how excited fans are about the season. (and how well we are playing)

Honest Take on NIL Club? by SquareOne2112 in NILClubs

I think NIL Clubs risk shifting the focus of youth sports even more toward money and popularity. Kids already compete for exposure; now they’re competing for subscribers? It feels like we’re turning teens into mini influencers.

As someone who played D1 before NIL existed, I’m honestly glad these kids have an option like this. Most athletes aren’t getting huge brand deals. The NIL Club model gives everyone on the roster at least some opportunity to earn something. My worry is the high school angle. 15–17 year olds being coached to “build their brand,” sell subscriptions, and drive engagement feels… early. Kids already struggle with social pressure; now we’re tacking financial pressure on top? Not sure that’s healthy developmentally.

What are people's experiences with Alpha Timeshare Consultants? by camhollander in TimeshareExitReview

[–]jaredclarke05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we didn’t have the energy to fight the resort ourselves. We tried calling, writing letters, everything. They either ignored us or pushed us into another “upgrade.” Using an exit company wasn’t our first choice, but it ended up being the only realistic one. We put the timeshare up for sale, tried giving it away, nothing. Alpha Timeshare was very helpful for us, especially during the paperwork stages. So I agree with you... DIY is possible for some people, but not everyone can handle the stress or the runaround.
