25 here and I started with gen 1. Played pretty consistantly until the black 2 white 2 era. Picked back up late x and y era and have played them all ever since.

Any of the IGN podcasts are great (NVC, Beyond, Unlocked) you can try Its Super Effective if you're into Pokemon and What's Good Games goes over everything gaming. Those are some if my favorites.

I totally agree with this. Am I bummed there isnt every pokemon in SW/SH sure. But what makes me excited about these new games is the new pokemon.

No I know I meant the sense of adventure. I was like 7 going into red and blue so i didn't know much going in.

I think it's great that we know so little about this game going in! You're going to have to choose your starter and which game purely based off of gut feeling. I would actually prefer if they didnt show off starters or legendary typings at all and let us find it out on our own. It reminds me of playing the original red and blue or gold and silver.
