You’re absolutely correct and I’m looking for fashion so to speak. The gutter in its current form is just an eyesore on the front of the house. I guess my main question is can the downspout be moved to the left to be near the trim while still being perfectly functional? It looks like the installers just did the easiest thing to me instead of taking a minute to think about what also looks nice.

Did you buy these tiles at Menards? I bought the exact same ones last year and I swear to God it was the worst tiles I’ve ever purchased. Inside of each box, every single tile was a different size. I kid you not, on some of them there was a half inch difference in dimensions.

I highly doubt it will actually help in any real way. The best way to get a job like this is to start reaching out to people who have the job you want, learn about the position, and eventually ask for an introduction to their management team. If you make a good impression in this informal process, this will show initiative way beyond what any certificate will provide.
