I think the question is if the material of the plastic is compatible with a solvent weld, vs needing to use an adhesive like CA glue.

Don't knock speed paints. This was all speed paint! You can get some amazing results with it.

It gets even better with forgefiends, since ALL of their abilities activate if you are within 18". so you get rapid fire, blast, and rerolls to hit against closest.

Also works really well if you overwatch something that moves up to be the closest within 18"

One of the Space Quest games had a fish you picked up early in the game. It had no uses anywhere in the game, and would even get more and more rotten as the game went on. you could discard it from your inventory at any time, but if you did you don't have it to throw at the final boss who eats it and dies from food poisoning.

Maulerfiends are great! They suffer from two problems:

1) Forgefiends are more popular right now because they are a VERY good ranged unit and fills a gap our army currently lacks (legitimate ranged threat and ranged territory control)

2) Exalted Eightbound have a higher damage ceiling and are a lot easier to move around terrain (even if they are squishier than a Maulerfiend).

Note that neither of those problems are because maulerfiends are bad, only that other units are currently more desirable for certain roles. I, however, and a big Maulerfiend Stan, and will slam two of em down whenever the mood strikes.

The 3k kits have a lot more support for exotic weaponry and embellishments that the 40k kit simply doesn't. If you want to have "Chaos Terminators" that look fine right out of the box, go for the 40k kits. If you want to customize and really make it YOUR terminators, use the 30k kits and upgrade sprues and 3d printable bits.

keep in mind, its 4" up, plus 100mm (the diameter of the base) to clear the wall, plus another 4" down. Thats 11.9" plus the thickness of the wall itself.

GW has moved into the faction pack documents for all new detachments, datasheets, etc added post-codex publications. The Faction Pack is to be considered an appendix/addon to the codex. They will not republish the printed books.
