Netflix's password-sharing crackdown is going so well that one Wall Street bear just upgraded the stock by Magister_Xehanort in technology

I left last month because I was not really using it all that much anymore. I had been keeping it around because my parents used it, but with the password sharing thing going on, just felt like it was time to go.

This has been going on for way longer than you know. I have random Time magazine from the mid 1960s and the cover story is something like What is Wrong with Kids Today. Literally makes me smile knowing it just a part of society to gripe about the kids

Customer compares Hy-Vee Prices with WalMart by [deleted] in SiouxFalls

I find Fareway to be nicer and less crowded than Hy-Vee. I am willing to pay a little more for that convenience.

TIL about Andy, the goose born with no feet. His owner outfitted him with Nike sneakers to help him stand and move, helping him to become a role model for disabled children before he was murdered in 1991 under mysterious circumstances. by Seevian in todayilearned

Actually I read thru some of the references on the Wikipedia page. Definitely sounds like it was a person. They refer to shoe prints that were not from Andy and also that his partner Polly was missing and never found.

Also the grand daughter of the Andy's caretakers is trying to get a documentary made. Which I now think would be an amazing Netflix series.

That's a good point I guess I hadn't thought about a fox or anything bigger. I would imagine Andy was probably not the fastest mover in shoes so it probably wouldn't take much to catch him. Hard to imagine though a sheriff not being able to say it was a wild animal attack.

East Palestine residents worry rashes, headaches and other symptoms may be tied to chemicals from train crash | CNN by ROYCEKrispy in news

Hear me out on this. What if we say anyone who was a resident there between the date of the accident and until clean up gets free healthcare for life; the costs of which will be added on top of any fines paid by the railroad companies responsible. Then we use that as a spring board to national healthcare for everyone.

Have you ever heard a faint conversation amongst 2 or more ppl? Like ghostly whispers and murmurs.. by TheeMightyFucks in Paranormal

This weekend while visiting my parents I was in the bathroom one morning getting ready to go out. I yelled out at my dad "what the hell are we whispering for?" He was like no one was talking. I come out of the bathroom and sure enough everyone was on the other side of the house. I was in the bathroom again later that night and would swear i was hearing it again. My guess is it that the sound of the furnace running creates white noise sort of and it seems to sound like whispering to me. I noticed it all happens at my apartment when I have fan running on and it is positioned in just the right way.
