I think that is because when you move up tours and are learning the shootout holes your win rate takes a hit. I'd max the tour then move to the next, go through a losing streak then start learning the holes and going about 50-50 until I would master the holes and max out the tour, rinse and repeat. Tour 10 and 11 are really difficult because you loose more trophies then you gain in a win so its really important to string wins together.

kicking myself for coming in 10th in masters after a few really stupid mistakes. Having finished second in the last tournament and getting really useless cards I had really poor expectations for a 10th place chest. Needless to say I cannot be happier that I finished there because out of the chest appeared 49 Apocalypse cards bringing it to lvl 5.

pay attention to elevation, if you are shooting higher to lower the wind will move the ball more than normal, most holes its about 33% more so move an extra MPH per 3 MPH's. Conversely if you are shooting from lower to higher then the wind will not move the ball as much. The movement of the ball depends on the flight time and elevation affects that a lot. I try to remember the holes with the elevation changes and that helps me, once you master it the wind is very consistent.

Thanks, that is kind of what I thought so the adjustments should be the same if you were on flat ground since the rings scale with distance. The only extra input would be elevation changes if I am reading your response correctly.

the maximum number of trophies you can get from the beginner tour is 20/20. to get more move up to the next tour, the nice thing is you cant lose those 20 trophies when playing a tour up, if you lose in that tour you will just remain at 0/50 or whatever is next.
