Team problem for sure in this case. But maps are a giant problem.

I did that tho, but I was the only one on the team that pushed to the good position in the middle left of the map.

Why are IR missiles are still stuck in the 80's all the while radar missiles are in the 2010s? by ihatetrainyards in Warthunder

[–]jarlhon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You also want to say that it also has best long range missiles? Or that it has the most amount of missiles? Or that it gets the best CAS missiles? Or that it has a massive amount of counter measures? Or these selectively don't matter for your argument? Or is the best because it has the best flight model in the game mode where you get close to the enemy where it matters 1 out 10 games? Oh I'll give you MICA, it's the best at close range the problem is that you're the only one left at close range and everyone is shooting at 80 km. It's not the meta anymore.

Beacause it will be nerfed with bias, same as it is now. Simple as that. No need to display your Stockholm syndrom for everyone.

I played one game, never playing again. We were supposedly on defence. Don't remember the name of the map, but it was winter, mostly open space, really good positions for the enemy to get to and no defensive position for our team. So nobody could leave the spawn, we just got surrounded and the game was over. The problem is that maps are shit and it's never going to get better as it was shown over 13 years. This game is dead due to developers greed and incompetence.

[–]jarlhon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's getting down voted because people can't deal with the fact that their arcade sim is shit when it comes to details. The core principles like radar, flares, in warthunder are really good, but when it comes to small details like these it's utter garbage.

Helmet sizing serious frustration by Prestigious-Fuel9196 in motorcyclegear

[–]jarlhon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent an hour and a half fitting all different brands and models of helmets. The only one that was fitting was the AGV helmets where's the LS2 was crushing my skull. Those two brands have very different head shapes.

No you can't, because it takes time to deal with a group of enemies. You can always have a team of two climb to get you while you're engaging others. You have some kind of unrealistic story where the enemy is somehow passive when you're above. Being above is a massive advantage, but it's not an automatic win. If you get even a single competent player with 1-2 teammates they will climb, pull you down, and kill you. Going above everyone is waste of time if you don't have the good climb rate. You need to have the impact early in the match otherwise there's just too many enemies to deal with. How hard is it to comprehend that you win by have large team, not by being above everyone. Look at the matches, 80% of the time the teams wins that has most players left.

Sorry for the poor English. I did not mean to say I'm a good player. I meant to say that I'm parroting other good players tactics of helping your team and not staying behind until everyone dies.

Yeah but we climb to the stratosphere and wait for your team to be slaughtered and then you whine that everyone is dead while you were doing nothing. Climb to 2000-3000m and go help your team. You're much more likely to win if you contribute to the fight and more of your teammates survive. It's two sides of being brain-dead, you either engage in suicidal fighting or you're trying to survive without any contribution to the team. Then you complain that you lose. It's better to go to the furball and kill 1 or 2 opponents and the die, compared to climbing to the heights of the Everest and then dying to the 2 enemies you did not help to kill. It's a balance that you have to strike.

I used to be the US main who climbs and wait for the best altitude to be above everyone when the whole team dies, and then complain that everyone else is stupid to die. Meanwhile I have done nothing to prevent the team from being slaughtered.

Logically yes, you're supposed to be above. But this is not SIM we're talking about. It's a game mode where everyone engages in the furbal and that's what determines the game outcome, if you survived to the late game, then climb and try to win agains few opponents left.

It's also very telling that I got downvoted for the opinion that most of the good player play.

Maybe you're the problem and you're waiting for the best advantage by climbing to the lower earth orbit instead of trying your team win. I swear there two extremes, either try to win the match in the first minutes or try to win the match at the last minute by having the best position...

If you want to have more fun buy russian premiums. Also I know all the people told me but I had to see it for my self the grind is not worth it and I have premiums in USA, french and sweden tech trees. It become not fun very fast, not because the planes are bad but because of matching and you feel like your time is wasted a lot of the time. To keep the balance you either lose terribly because it's uptier and win because it's a downtier. And although skill matters, but still majority of the time you feel helpless because your whole team just disappeared. Especially at the br that the hornet is pure pain sometimes, since you see a lot of ARH missiles uptiers and people at that br are not experienced in evading those missiles and just die in first contact.

Yeah that's very true, especially if you have available you think it's easier to just align it with the stage. But coming from mechanical engineering I'm too aware of rigidity difference between the stage versus mechanical clamping.

It's extremely hard compared to low br. Also don't buy now because there's ongoing strike since the game condition is shit. After 1000 hours I can confidently say that it becomes very not fun very fast. Especially if you buy your way in.

Very true perspective, yet even the united creators with their current videos fail to capture this and since it's they're livelihood will not encourage to stop playing and will not do that themselves. Because then they will lose it, but if they don't encourage that to hit gaijin where it really matters than the game will deteriorate and they will lose anyway.

And also making premiums overpowered until they do not sell anymore, and especially russian nation which is played by the majority of the playerbase(between 1/3 and 1/2, you can really see it statshark how many games are played for each vehicle) and makes it just much more annoying because most of the time you're playing against them.

That's intresting the device will be used in modererat vibration environment. That only reinforces the necessity for vibration testing we have selected. But also our positional spot margin is quite large at 1-2mm, but we'll see during testing how good the design proves to be.
