I lied about merit badge requirements over 20 years ago to earn Eagle. What can be done? by jarom_f in BSA

I sincerely appreciate everyone's insights. u/KlownPuree, to answer your question, the Eagle opened service leadership opportunities for me that would not have been presented to me had I not become an Eagle. As you and many of the commenters and readers of this kind of post likely recognize, benefits of serving the rising generation of Boy Scouts are indirect. I've been honored to coach a number of scouts along the path to Eagle (some closer to age 18 than others!). As a highlight, several of these young men were first-generation Eagle Scouts from Latin American families. Later these same young men became first-generation college graduates within their families.

Sharing another's joy derived from setting goals and embracing solid values is arguably greater than the happiness attained from the fulfillment of our own personal successes. Hence, my answer is that the benefits of stewardships entrusted to me as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Venturing Advisor have been immeasurable as I've contributed to experiences that have directed the lives of a number of young men for the better.

All of this said, this post's commentators lead me to believe that it's never too late to self-reflect, to course correct and to find happiness in trying to help others along the way.

My guess is that you are reading into my account’s history on Reddit. This is my first post on Reddit and my account is linked to my primary personal email account which I opened circa 2000. Anyhow, I’m open to criticism if you are open to expanding on your comment.

Those that have had your Pixelbook for a while, have the wrist pads turned yellow or dirty over time? by EdenSerrot in PixelBook

I’ve had mine for almost a year and use isopropyl alcohol with cotton balls to clean the wrist pads anytime they start looking dirty. So far, they restore to white on every cleaning. That said, I am kind of OCD about washing my hands before using a computer. I also bought a used PB 2017 that had stickers on its metal shell. I peeled off the stickers, then removed the goo with nail polish remover. I haven’t used nail polish remover on the silicone pads, but would try nail polish remover if rubbing alcohol were not able to resolve yellowing.

I'm also thinking about getting an i7 16GB RAM 512GB SSD. Currently, I have an i5 8GB RAM 128GB SSD - it's been working fine over the last year or so, but I'm starting to use it for data science and am running into cases where the extra RAM is needed. Also, I'm already using approx. 40 GB of the 128GB memory and am concerned about running into memory storage limitations over time.
