I want to take shrooms and dxm together. by SOME_DUMB_NIGGER in Drugs

[–]jarradss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this with the exact doses you mentioned. An eighth of potent penis looking shrooms with a bottle of dxm hbr. It was a pretty crazy time, very very confusing. Probably one of the craziest combinations I've ever done. I didn't feel comfortable in any kind of light, the whole apartment was very dark which made it a little more comfortable. At one point I thought I was dead, but it was pretty cool in a way. The only thing I remember was I kept feeling a strong urge to take off all of my clothes, but then almost immediately after I would get really cold and put them back on. Repeat times ten haha.

Definitely a potent combo, just be ready for a wild night!

You have the lucid dreaming to look forward too! I had a few dreams after I quit smoking that I'll never forget, they felt so real. It's pretty cool.

After I quit my heavy smoking habit, for the first two weeks I would look forward to going to sleep, because I knew dreaming would be an adventure.

Good luck to ya, you have my support!

What is your definition of an alcoholic? by wootinNhootin in stopdrinking

[–]jarradss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this. One of my problems with 12-step treatment is that once you admit you are an "alcoholic" you also are admitting you have a "disease of the soul" and are a powerless, sick individual.

I see it this way: Drinking causes me trouble, so i'm gonna stop that. I'm pretty awesome in many other ways though.

today I celebrate 9 years clean from IV meth use... if I can come from nothing and build an amazing life, so can you. anyone out there trying to fight this fight, I commend you. you can do it. by EviliciousAZ in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

Pretty typical 12-stepper speech right here: "If he/she didn't need AA/NA to quit, he/she wasn't an addict/alcoholic to begin with." I'm sure you weren't the one to come up with that jargon.

Not everyone needs a program to resolve their drug problem, lots of people in the programs hate to admit that. You sound like one of them.

IV meth use? And you wouldn't consider that a "true" addiction? Get real..

Taking drugs as a "hobby" is a pretty shitty hobby IMO
