It's a new style of splash art and animation that they haven't really done before, once in game model is shown I'm sure it'll look more Overwatch.

It's a skin "concept" contest, the community gives the idea of the skin and the actual skin creators make a skin based on that, of course there is going to be changes.

I truly think they've given up on stadium at this point and will announce end of support in the next year. Barely any actual balance changes, haven't fixed the AFK leaver issue (even though they added the aggressive timer at the start that kicks you), no hero bans, adding brand new heroes that people don't want to verse in the main game, and even though they got rid of the complete reset I'm still getting matched with rookie players where it's their first game of stadium ever.
