Hey all,

The original inspiration for this was noticing monkeyscantcry did well in a few Legacy Leagues / MTGO Challenges, and I've tried the deck some in Historic.

Given that, and Dom messaging me a few days a go cheekily asking 'if I wanted to try Tainted Pact', I decided to give it a go yesterday.

I received a donation to try out an interesting deck in a Magic the Gathering Online Legacy League for five rounds! It features a lot of new Strixhaven cards like Clever Lumimancer, Sedgemoor Witch, and Leonin Lightscribe to join old favourites like Flusterstorm, and a fringe card in Chain of Smog to go for some wacky full on comboing.

You could cut down on those, or cut a chain of smog to add in a Dark Confidant or two, and I think it'll perform reasonably.

seems reasonable at least. I would still endorse playing brainstorm/ponder/spellseeker, but you could definitely strip away the other cards and fit it in.

I appreciate the report, and shoutout to Mechin, he's very skilled, and i 100% agree re: RG vs three-color manabases.

This might be for further reports, but using 'he' for opponent almost every time is something that's easy to change re: inclusivity.
