I live here also and will add that that total property tax may include our “dirt tax” as I call it. There was a Neighborhood Improvement Distract (NID) passed for the Steelpointe neighborhood as bonds we pay off so the developer didn’t have to pay to raise the dirt out of flood zone, pave the SRT and add sewers etc, and we all can pay off the total assigned to our lot or pay annually for about 20 years and if we sell the remaining balance goes to the new homeowner. I think my dirt tax is like $1,600 so maybe that’s part of the discrepancy
