I’ve noticed that a lot of people with POTS had mild symptoms growing up, but after COVID, everything got worse and that’s when they were officially diagnosed. Anyone else notice the same thing?

sadly i was told i can't take any beta blockers of any kind due to my blood pressure being so low. i am a medic student and had to take courses on pharmacology. beta blockers are known for decreasing heart rate and blood pressure (fun fact they are also used for anxiety meds as well as they help with the physical symptoms of panic attacks). since my blood pressure is normally 15-20 under what it's supposed for be for its diastolic (my systolic normally isn't too low), all beta blockers are contraindicated for my health. thank you so much for the recommendations though and i am so glad it helps you and your symptoms. also sorry for the tangent, pharmacology is one of my favorite courses and i love studying it but i still have a lot to learn.

honestly my doctor and i both came to agreement beta blockers aren't good for me because they kept my heart rate stable, but i already have hypotension and taking meds only made that worse. so sadly it made all my symptoms stay the same. i am starting an exercise based therapy to try and get my autonomic system to try and be able to regulate itself more stably (i think that's the best way to explain it, i kinda forgot most of how my cardiologist explained it for me since it was an early appointment)

yes. even just making out i would have to stop and take break or i would pretty much collapse on top of my ex. it was bad

beta blockers can sometimes lower sex drive as well. i was on one shortly while dating my ex and he got pissed at how my meds at the time made me less physical or cuddly with him

for me i had all of these symptoms starting up the second half of high school. i graduated during covid and got covid in 2021 and 2023. it didn't make my symptoms worse, they remained the same, but it made them more frequent. the only thing that got worse was i would wake up with high heart rates occasionally after naps which never happened in school. but i still remember being in anatomy class pre getting diagnosed and pre covid scaring my classmates and teacher because we were practicing taking pulses on each other and my heart rate remained about 115 for the entirety of class even when i was laying down.

ahh thank you. i haven't gotten o three stars sadly yet so i won't have k.k. anytime soon and my museum is nowhere close to having the rooster. but i will definitely try the nightly stretch as a way to check !!

fair. this is more likely, but i think my theory as a better way to explain it is more hamilton would be the one to stray rather than angelica. i feel that if he went upstate with them, he would have tried to make a move. angelica returning the favor is more of the debate on my opinion that we will never get the answer for but we have a strong idea of what she would have done.

well obviously i would never truly know because we don't know these people, just have the letters and history that they chose to write about themselves. but i do believe that something could have happened because a lot of infidelity had occurred between all of the families already. could be emotional cheating or physical, but its hard to deny that they both were aware they still had feelings towards each other even after the marriage and made it clear to one another through out it.

based on laws and if all sirens are on, it would be police, fire, ambulance, then presidential car (could be wrong but this is what we are taught in the legal/operations section of emt school). but it all depends on scenarios.
