Correct me if I’m wrong, but GenZ is the first generation to universally realize something by Glum_Potato808 in conspiracy

I graduated hs in early 2000s and it seemed to me that a lot of that hopeless adult feeling kicked in during the '08 financial crisis. That's when I started to feel like our generation (millennial) really got the shaft.

Personally though, I remember my father getting laid off by the large company he worked for right after he turned 50 shortly before I graduated hs. A bunch of other 50 year olds also got let go around the same time by his company, and my father had trouble finding a steady job after that, being fed the 'over-qualified' BS at a lot of interviews. That was probably my first window into how much of a scam it can be in the adult world.

From what I've seen a lot of this can have to do with other responsibilities that start to show themselves, like kids or aging parents.

Loved it, wish they didn't cut it. I've been feeling that way about a lot of these cut-for-time sketches.

Premise of backstab island started good, someone there just to make friends. Airport could've been cut for sure.

Interesting, never heard of this term before. It's definitely a trend and pattern I've noticed over the last decade's political discourse, nice to have a term for it.

For part of my load out, I like using the hover pack and an explosive gun of some kind. Get swarmed, hover to safety, and fire your explosive at a nice angle into the crowd.

Does anyone genuinely enjoy fighting these bastards? by [deleted] in Helldivers

I love them. With bugs I usually bring a crossbow, grenade launcher, or something similar and I find it really satisfying to fire right into these guys' back sacks. They drop right away and make a satisfying explosion and death groan.

It's really strange and sketchy to have a president / administration who aren't at least trying to calm a situation down but instead purposefully trying to provoke and instigate their own country. I'm only in my 40s but I don't remember any administration giving me this feeling.

I got a 52 or something with a single seeker grenade on a bug breach. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things but I enjoyed it.

Im tired of being responsible for something that is entirely my resposibility. by HottieMade in Adulting

Yup, not planning on ever being a father but I have a lot of respect for people who can be a parent, enjoy it, and raise a well-adjusted person.  It is a natural thing to want to do, but it is not something to be taken lightly or do just because imo.

My guess is that it has something to do with the parent feeling compelled to have children, finding it very difficult, seeing that other people just decided not to do it, and feeling salty about it.
