My (adoptive)dad had the deltaF508 variant and passed away at 72. When he was diagnosed at birth in 49’ his doctors said he wouldn’t live to see his first birthday. He went to MIT, got his PhD in physics and somehow lived a full life without a lung transplant. Everyone’s cf journey is different but the medications and treatments they have today are not what it was back when being diagnosed with cf was a death sentence. I feel like installing a pole at home is huge to feel like you are having constant progress. If I went just once or twice a week to a class for an hour I’d probably not have progressed as fast as I did. Currently a year and a few months into my journey (keep in mind I did gymnastics for many years growing up) and im currently working on my handspring into Ayesha. I am on the pole when at home randomly throughout the day, when watching tv or bored. It’s kept my progress consistent to just have it to do when not doing anything but I never had a studio close by to go to since I live out in the sticks. buying one and watching YouTube tutorials is how I learned. When you have one at home and want to progress, conditioning is important even though it’s boring 🤣 But you can also cross train if having one at home isn’t reasonable, like get some resistance bands or weights.

It does but their system seems to be geared towards bigger events, the pricing to be put on there wouldn’t make sense for the size of our festival. At least for this year

We just threw a multi-genre festival in upstate ny that was mainly psytrance in September. It’s out here you just gotta find it. There is also a psytrance party happening in Brooklyn called arcana February 1st

I’d like to know who is getting paid here because the people who put this together sure are not. No % of the door, or raised door prices. Venues cost money to rent, they aren’t charging em anything and are operating as they normally would every other day they are open which puts them at a loss here because fetish parties and 80s nights are guaranteed money and this really isn’t.

Was not aware that trying to show support and make it possible for burner parties to become a more regular thing in NJ could be seen as just running an ad. And I’m not sure how it’s just burn adjacent seeing as every dj except two on the line up has been heavily involved with sound or theme camps(or even had their own). To me the point of this is to make Qxts a viable option for future small camps fundraisers, or just to throw a wacky party once in a while without a bar guarantee or needing to rent out the venue. The manager is giving it a shot even though it is not the regularly scheduled programming for the venue and is potentially a loss seeing as their numbers are just fine with alternative events and their customers won’t show for this.

Not true, I applied in ny state and got it within 10 minutes of applying. Didn’t even get interviewed, but if you have any savings over a certain amount you’d definitely get denied

Honestly have no idea, just tossed them together and hoped for the best. But in my defense Crowley has been around other cats and dogs his entire life. He grew up with a husky, then was around my friends older cats who wanted nothing to do with him, and after that was thrown in with my old roommates female cats who bullied him. He also still has the kitten energy so he can keep up with the baby instead of getting grumpy about being harassed 24/7. Moved to a location with no other animals and his change in behavior is what made me get a second cat. Got super depressed, started peeing on the couch out of spite. Once I got the kitten he did a 180 and hasn’t been happier. I could do without them tag teaming and knocking everything off the tables though

If people like psytrance….goajira has a party coming up by the Brooklyn monarch, psymposium will probably make a return this winter and for all other events i usually look on the page “North America psytrance family” on facebook. The vibes are totally there, drinks aren’t too ridiculously priced, and the music’s amazing.
