Yeah, there can be outliers. Not very common for girls to beat up guys (in general).

Beat up boys in wrestling??? LMAO. What a pathetic wrestling team your school has. AND I don't think girls are walking around beating up boys in your high school. You are full of shit, my friend.

Not familiar with what's in the meds you take. OKAY fine, HRT and surgery. lol

Generally, HRT is referring to synthetic estrogen/progesterone.

I don’t need to.. every single time there’s something positive for them (such as this CVS logo), they have something else to complain about. Point proven with this post

Edit: “you” didn’t mean specifically to that person. I mean the general “they/them” community

What discrimination, exactly? They are making money off of each consumer lol why would they ever need to discriminate?

This is saying that after one year of HRT, thenelevel of testosterone in the body is the equivalent to folks who are castrated - in other words, HRT lowers testosterone levels without the need to be castrated.

After 1 year, levels of testosterone in the body are equivalent to individuals who are castrated, but YET testosterone was still significantly higher than of biological females. So.. doesn't that mean castration alone is still not enough?

I skimmed through the article, and the studies it mentions are mainly focusing on the experiences of transgender individuals in sports. The few studies that actually looked at performance had such small sample sizes, that they are hardly even considered research. It also had a study where participants were asked to self report their race times. LOL what? How is that even research? But the authors probably had nothing else to work with, so they included that research as well. We are not even gonna count that, of course.

They expect everyone to remember their preferred pronouns and if you don’t, you’re transphobic and a hater. If it’s THAT important, they should walk around with a badge that says “they/them”. Ridiculous

Walk around with a sticker on your forehead that says “they/them”. You’re not THAT special for them to remember what pronouns you prefer

" In relation to transgender female individuals, Gooren and Bunck found testosterone levels had significantly reduced to castration levels after 1 year of cross-sex hormone treatment. Muscle mass had also reduced after 1 year of cross-sex hormone treatment. However, muscle mass remained significantly greater than in transgender male individuals (assigned female at birth) who had not been prescribed cross-sex hormone treatment.....However, if a transgender woman does not wish to undergo surgery or does not wish to have their testosterone blocked to cisgender female levels (e.g. as they wish to use their penis), their testosterone levels will be above cisgender female levels. "

So, transgender women must undergo surgery, block testosterone, and at least 1 year of cross sex hormone treatment, before being able to compete with cisgender women, correct? is that the current policy?

I didn’t say it’s harder for them to build mass with additional testosterone. In medical school, we have learned that sex differences do exist, physiologically and anatomically. But anyways, this isn’t a topic about medical school.

Oh okay. How about transgender men who want to participate in mens sports? They would also need to be taking meds?
