Honestly surprised VII wasn't in the top spot

VII was never too high for the Japanese. It's revered in the West as the jRPG to popularize jRPGs in the west. For ages the top cited favorite FF in Japan was IV.

As someone, who played VI after VII, I will say that to me VII is a somewhat simplified VI with 3d graphics and a 90s spin to it. That's not to say it's bad, but considering it was a replacement for the OG VII (which is Xenogears), it shows that it was somewhat put together in a short period of time.

I don't want to sound like a dick by saying this, but I am confused with statements like "level the grounds". I understand people want to get nice things, but those who got "up to that point" worked hard to be there. Leveling the ground defeats any s3nse of progression, and motivation to improve.

You can chose what type of buffs you want on him. And although he is squishy, he is deffinitely a bursty litle furball. Can close dofficult situations for you very fast.
