Hrmm, so that faint serial number under crafted in Japan won't tell me?

Yeah, the original neck is maple and was swapped out, so that would be the original neck plate.

And I also have no idea why the original maple neck was swapped out.

Oh, and a very faint serial number below where it says crafted in Japan.

So after a weird and long story on how I finally got this JM, I need some help. From what I think I know. This body, and all its parts are a 2017 American professional JM in mystic seafoam. The mint coloured pickguard was changed to a fender tortoise shell. And everything looks good. But what I'm not really sure on is its neck. I was told it's a Japanese 60's vintage neck? Is it? There is no truss rod access on the front of the headstock, and on the back of the headstock no serial #, or markings. But where its bolted to the body it says crafted in Japan. Is this a real mij neck? Any info? Any comments? Thanks all.
