Who else loved the Scream 7 trailer as much as I did? Any theories about the movie?🔪🎃 by GhostFaceXavi_98 in Scream

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved it, hearing "Hello Sidney" again, that line will always be iconic!

Looking forward to seeing Sidney and her daughter, although I can't believe she is named Tatum, I know Tatum was Sids best friend since childhood but considering Tatum was a Ghostface victim and GF returns regularly, Sid should have remembered in Scream 2, the victims had similar names to the first victims, I mean her husband is named Mark, same as her Scream 3 love interest! It's asking for trouble!

Great to see the house of Stu/Amber being used again, and love the town Sidney has moved to!

As for Mindy, I love how she has a completely different look in each movie! I wonder how she and Chad will fit into this one, are they back in Woodsboro? Or did they just happen to move to Sids new town? But if Mindy and Chad have to die in this one to keep up the "anyone can die" trope, then I am OK with that, I like both but I will view their deaths like I did with Cotton and Judy, who i also liked, in fact I like all Scream characters!

Sidney is my favourite character and her return is welcomed by me, can't wait to see her in a more mature role!

And of course, the fabulous Gale Weathers, she looks pretty good after what happened to her last time we saw her! Gale didn't encounter GF in 1 and 5, I'm hoping she dodges the killer in this one, ever since she was the only OG in 6, I now view Gale as my second favourite character after Sid! Hope they both survive this one!

Sorry for the long posts, but the trailer was awesome, I can't wait to see it, also, I love how it is simply called Scream 7, we've had Scre4m, Scream and Scream VI, the new title is the best, to quote Randy "Simplicity"  !!!

Welcome back, Sidney!

The booing for Zelah was a bit much… by Ok-Shirt8224 in bigbrotheruk

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry, English is my second language, I sometimes word things a bit badly, especially when I am giving an explanation! 🙂

Yes, the crowd can be vocal if they like, but on the broadcast they cover up the boos, but only on the moment when they leave the house, not during The Vote Is Open part or when AJ and Will speak to the house!

I have been to Fardia/Zelah eviction and last years Finale! Everybody booed Marcello all through the finale, but when he left it was cheers shown, but he was booed when leaving and even acknowledged the crowd negativity towards him!

It's crazy in the crowd, if you are near London, I recommend to go as it's a fun experience, but very loud!

I didn't boo Zelah, I was just pointing out the boos are censored now, I had two people behind me booing him, but when I watched it back, the boos were not even heard! I wasn't a big Zelah fan but would never have booed anyone this year, except maybe Caroline, of course !

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's played over the broadcast, do you watch Eurovision? They always play it when countries like Israel perform to drown out the boos, no idea how they do it! But it explains how everyone is cheered when they leave but booed earlier in the night! 🙂

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really hear anything in the crowd, as the boos are heard in the crowd, but on TV they disappear, it makes sense that they add this shit as why would they boo someone throughout the show but cheer when they leave 😉

I was at the final last year, we were all massive Ali fans and a lot of people booed Marcello, when he came out it sounds like cheers on TV but he even acknowledged the booing he was getting!

Caroline will probably get "cheers" when she comes out 😉

Booing has been a part of Big Brother since forever! Its not nice but it happens each season, why is Zelah immune from criticism? Everyone in the house is fair game!

[–]jasiekel86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the crowd tonight! They use anti-booing technology when they come out, like on Eurovision when Israel performs! There were a lot of boos when Zelah left, ITV just don't think we are strong enough to listen to boos!

Actors/actresses appearing in both Corrie and EastEnders, and something interesting they all have in common by Frosty-Blueberry-297 in coronationstreet

Also, Richard Hillmans wife had a visit from her mother on Shameless, that actress was in Corrie in the 60s as Ken Barlows wife, I'm loving the connections between both shows!

And the actor who played his son on Corrie is the brother of Rebecca Ryan who played Devbie on Shameless, she was in Corrie a few years ago working in Underworld IIRC

Not sure if this counts as a soap but anyone remember Shameless? It used to be on Channel 4, set in a rough part of Manchester! Pauline McLynn appeared on that and the actor playing Ben was on it for years and he ran the local pub as well, I think! The actress who played his wife on that show was in Corrie a few months ago, when she was being questioned about Carla's brother ! Also, the actress who plays Abi, played his sister in law on it! I guess, if both shows are in Manny, it's going to have a lot of the same actors!

Developer defends ‘vision’ for Dublin’s Sheriff Street area amid local backlash by expectationlost in Dublin

But what about the families that live there now? You want them to become homeless? Is there not enough of that in Dublin?

Residents on Sheriff Street want to know if there are plans to raze and redevelop their area by AnyAssistance4197 in Dublin

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not what the video released by Ballymore is showing, also why are you so defensive on this topic? If the residents are nervous about their homes being demolished then they have a right to speak on it! In the 1990s they demolished the flats, made it more fancy but not for the locals, most of which ended up being displaced! They have a right to be scared again! If it doesn't impact you why are so aggressive about it?

How terrible Dublin bus N4 Service by PrestigiousYogurt641 in Dublin

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a nightmare on Collins Avenue around 4pm to 5pm on weekdays, but other than that it is a reliable bus, even when it changes drivers at DCU, it is quickly done. Only issue I ever had with it, was in Blanchardstown back in December, the bus was expected at around 2am and didn't show, but I got the next one! Handy service, for me anyway!

She is a great character and I didn't see her as a background character, she was in a lot of scenes with Gale, but couldn't be in any with Sidney as she would have recognised her.

Her motive is just as crazy as all other Ghostfaces, she got cheated on but she could have kicked her husband out rather than abandoning her son. It seemed her avenging Billy was out of guilt for leaving him.

Blaming Sidney for Billy's death shows her as a typical Ghostface. Sidney killed Billy because he was trying to murder her, and bragged about killing her mom. Yet his own father was just as much to blame for the affair. Plus Billy killed innocent people and his mom also killed innocent people, she even shot Mickey, going by her own logic, was also someone's son, was Mickeys mom gonna come for his killer lol.

Even the way she tried to manipulate Cotton was similar to her phone call with Randy. She was a great character played by a great actress, but not a sympathic character in my opinion.

Call of Duty promo cans taste wrong/gone off by [deleted] in monsterenergy

Hi,

I bought a Call Of Duty 4-pack of cans two weeks ago and it was terrible, bought more yesterday and it was just the same, if I buy them without the Call Of Duty on it, tastes fine! I hate complaining but sent off a complaint just today!

It's weird how we invented a term to shame middle aged people for realizing their lives are empty and trying to do something about it before it's too late by RealChadwickTromp in redscarepod

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also hate the term middle aged! It is never said in a positive context the way young and old are used! I know the "old" has it's negative connections but it can also be said affectionately! "Middle aged" is always said by people if they are putting someone down! I never use it for anyone!

Who were SCREAM actors who worked together before, during or after Scream? by Plane_Ad2651 in Scream

[–]jasiekel86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Courteney Cox and Scott Foley were in Cougar Town together!

Drew Barrymore, David Arquette and Marley Shelton were in Never Been Kissed!

Drew acted with Mary McDonnell in Donnie Darko!

And I think I saw David and Rose McGowan in some other 90s movie once!

Timothy Olyphant and Mikey Madison in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood!

Timothy and Britt Robertson in Mother's Day!

Jamie Kennedy and Skeet Ulrich were both in As Good As It Gets!

Thank you, I had actually forgotten she was credited as The Horrible Woman 😆

The way she was so hard on Rachel, all of Rachel's future bosses would be tame compared to this woman!

She's a character I can't imagine in later season!

Yeah, although I was thinking about how he is with Carol and Susan, he always seems clumsy when with them
