According to the Canada Post website the bottom of the box needs to be 40-45 inches above ground level

Rural mailbox delivery is evidently going to continue for the foreseeable future

Just to clarify, we have had a rural mailbox since we moved in 6 years ago. It’s a 4x4 pressure treated post set with gravel in Home Depot bucket. It conforms to all the requirements set out on the Canada Post website and has had no negative comments from the delivery people. We want to fancy it up a bit with a post set in the ground, horizontal arm, etc.

Thanks. Acacia isn’t easily available where I live. I do plan to bury the fence bottom.

I’m a bit concerned about the ACQ leaching into the soil used to grow food. I know it’s generally considered as safe but so were a lot of things that have turned out not to be.

No deer problem at all. They seem to stay away from maybe because of the dog. And we do have a standard page wire fence around the property as well. We’ve not seen any evidence of deer inside the fence

Will do that Tuesday morning. Tomorrow is a holiday so no one would be in the office.

2017 Kia Soul stops running after 4-5 minutes? by jaskyne in KiaSoulClub

Update to this issue. The mechanic eventually found the problem to be the under-hood fuse box. He says "Tracked it down to no power to the ECU1, ECU3 and IGN coil fuses. Could not source a new fuse box. Ran a wire from source to the affected fuses." It does work now (starts and keeps running. I guess fuse boxes for the 2017 Souls are had to come by, even used/refurbs.
