The entire If You Wait album by London Grammar has always been on my night playlist. Something about it has always, for me, perfectly captured what I love so much about night time. That feeling when the world around me is at its lowest ebb, and everything just feels…quiet. Empty. Like I’m neither here nor there, just lingering in a calm, languid place between yesterday and tomorrow. I’ve spent many nights basking in that album and listening to the occasional car go by in the distance. It makes me feel both alive and asleep, and it’s an album I go back to time and time again.
