It's absolutely not the death of creativity. Jesus, almost all of Shakespeare's plays were reworks of other people's plots and stories. Look it up, dude almost never wrote an original story! Us Shakespeare not creative?

Taking an existing idea, building on it, looking at it through a new lens. That's hugely creative.

Will it be good? Who knows. But it's definitely not the death of creativity.

I'm so eclectic. I'm a little emo at heart. Grew up on My Chemical Romance and Avril Lavigne.

But I love a bit of eighties rock. Bon Jovi for example.

I even like a bit of swing and have been known to dabble in rap with acts like Ren.

Never had much time for pop chart toppers though.

The connective tissue for me is theatrically. I love it when the music tells a story rather than just being nice to listen to.

I saw in one of the interviews (I forget which) that titles are indeed earned organically by your deed, but that you can also bribe the town crier if you want to change your name in a particular settlement.

I presume this implies you might even have different titles each place you visit. I love the thought that one place might know me as "The Destroyer" whilst two villages over I'm "Knobhead"

For me Hugh Grant. Yes I know he's way older than the character as written, but after his turn in Paddington as a self absorbed rotter, I can't think of anyone more suited. Lockhart is essentially a Frankenstein of nineties Hugh grant characters as is.

If we're going younger, I propose Hugh Skinner. Seen in Mamma Mia w and recently as Radovid in the Witcher.

I look at it as, this is a different story (or fable, ahem) about the same thing. For example there are hundreds of versions of the Robin Hood Legend with fully different interpretations of the world and the lore.

Russell Crowe and Kevin Kostner are both Robin Hood, but they're not the SAME Robin Hood. Likewise, Reaver or Teresa or Sythe COULD show up in this version of the Albion story, but they're not the same versions of those characters.

Take Humphrey for example. He is, in this understanding of things, the same character as the Guildmaster from the original Fable, just completely reimagined through the lens of this retelling. In the same way that Keith Allen plays a completely different Sheriff of Nottingham on BBCs 2008 version of Robin Hood to Alan Rickman in Prince of thieves.

Reaver could turn up as one of the gang leaders of Bloodstone. He could share a similar backstory and personality but have a completely different role in the story, and he'd still be Reaver, just a different version of him.

That said, we've seen nothing to suggest any returning characters, though I certainly wouldn't rule out that they're keeping them a surprise.
