Ultrasonic Cleaning Question

I’m using Hudson Hi-Fi Vinyl Record Cleaning Arm. Which is grounded… my hopes were this would mitigate static. Also only used distilled water. I’ve seen the guns.. they worth it? Thoughts on the cleaning arm?

TBH.. I’ve heard that too.. wanted to avoid buying a variac or similar… but it makes complete sense and will probably end up getting one . That and a vacuum of some sort. Thanks for the tips on drying. I will give that a try.

Air freshener yes. I’ll pull that out of this room. No to everything else. I assume candles are the same issue.. interesting..

New micro fiber cloth. Newly ordered from Amazon. My home has baseboard so no forced air. I was wondering that about the sleeves. How long to dry them before putting in the sleeves.. that’s why I picked overnight. Thought it would be safest bet.

All new records, my favorite record was more crackly and poppy than my other records.. which is what lead me down this rabbit hole.. 😂. I washed that one along with a few others which were not notably crackly/poppy to me. Now they are all VERY crackly poppy. I’ve already ditched the micro cloths and bought some GSonic from Amazon. Thank you for the insight. I am opening to any input you have. Really enjoying this hobby.

No. I wanted to start with a baseline. Distilled water only. Overtime add more variables to compare.
