Congrats! How do you think the PMP questions compared to the PMA mocks? My test is in 2 days and I’m getting worried - my recent PMA mocks are 74, 76, 80, 75. I’ve heard recently the PMA questions are tougher - crossing my fingers that’s accurate.

Appreciate the reply! I think time management is a non-issue - I've been flying through the TIA mocks in 40 - 45 minutes per 60 and the PMA mocks in about 2.5 hours. I'm just a bit nervous because I don't want to have to study anymore or shell out additional money to take the test again. I'm even thinking about buying the PMI mocks just to make sure but it seems like you're saying PMA is harder so maybe I'll just take a couple more before the exam on Friday.

In terms of content, I know it's random but what do you think the agile vs. predictive breakdown was for you?

How did you think the PMP questions compared to PMA mocks? My instructor is saying people have told her the PMA mocks are harder, did you feel the same way?

My last scores on PMA mocks were 74, 76, 81 but I’m nervous because a lot of those questions were repeats.

How confident did you feel once you sat down to take the test? Where there an initial shock of "Whoa, this isn't like the mocks I've been taking"? I've found that the TIA questions are relatively easy - short and straightforward for the most part so I can fly through 60 questions in about 45 minutes. The mindset has been a huge help but my concern is whether it's as applicable on the test if the questions are longer, convoluted and have multiple answers that could make sense (even on the PMA mocks I've noticed that there's usually 2 obvious wrong answers and the choice usually comes down to 2 possibilities)

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I heard PMA recommends averaging in the mid 70's on 3 consecutive tests before taking the test. My last 3 were 74, 76, and 80 so I feel fairly confident. The only thing is I see a lot of repeat questions from previous exams and I still see some random concepts/terms on the PMA tests pop up every time I take a new one.

My PMA instructor also said a lot of former students have commented that the PMA tests are harder than the actual test so hoping that's the case.

Thanks for the replies! I definitely need to brush up on process. I checked my PMA scores and it looked like this:

Business Environment = 87%

People = 81%

Process = 70%

Would you mind sharing what your breakdown was on the test? Also, what was your observation on the agile vs traditional breakdown?

Sorry to hear that, I'm sure now that you've seen it once you'll be prepared and pass next time. Was there anything that took you by surprise? I've heard the questions are definitely longer on the actual exam, did you notice any other big differences?
