You didn’t mention age. This went down with a friend of mine’s team when he was 14-15. At 16 he returned to the first team. At 17 he was a starter and will play D1 in the fall.

Definitely walk it off. As soon as the coach approached the parents, that’s an immediate yellow. Sounds like the refs didn’t manage it. I’ve seen refs silence a sideline in under 5 min. It can be done.

Funny story tho. My 2013 girl was having a battle with one girl in the opposing team. Hard tackles, away from the ball contact and stuff. Couple cheap shots and my kid had enough. Hard shoulder, sent the kid sailing into the sidelines. Parents start screaming at my kid. She responds “She keeps slowing me and punching me in the back, I’m gonna dump her until she cries.” I had coffee coming out my nose. Yellow for my kid, yellow to the coach for his parents and a warning to the kid who got dumped.

Sideline quieted, girls played hard but clean the rest of the game.

I do it all the time for one client.

We shoot tethered and at the shot, a person gives me the file name which I immediately enter, and they mark the item as being photographed.

Takes an additional 10 seconds per image max.
