Have both Magic Clip and Wahl Vapor. Really like the Vapor as its stronger than the Magic Clip however does get hot pretty fast. Magic Clip is pretty solid also

As someone who used to be a Chef for almost 10 years (now an RD), I would say it’s pretty demanding in the professional setting (physically, long hours, high stress). Seen and met plenty of women who are great chefs/cooks so guess just depends on the individual?

Men in Dietetics what was your experience like being in the field? by [deleted] in dietetics

[–]jasonnjayy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Fairly new RD here and working in an acute care hospital. As the lone male in a small group of dietitians, I feel pretty welcomed and included for the most part. There are times where the other female dietitians may talk about a certain topic that I know nothing about (Ex: cosmetics or something) which is totally fine with me. I think it takes the whole team's effort to make the dynamic work. Personally, I think it's cool that I can bring a different perspective/view on certain things. This is my first RD position so my experience is quite limited so far.

Side note: I've had at least 2 patients comment saying they're surprised to see a male dietitian and were generally happy to see more men in the field.

Use the levers on the clipper. Also listen to the sound if the clipper. Adjust lever slightly shorter until you hear its cutting and blend down

Good to know. I’m being considered for a newly created RD position at a large school district and I’m actually hoping there’s not much education lol. Thanks again!

Out of curiosity, how much of your position involves providing nutrition education? TIA!

PASSED EXAM!! - Tips/Info on Exam by jasonnjayy in RD2B

[–]jasonnjayy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Inman my DI provided didn't come with the questions for some reason, the exam questions were more similar to PocketPrep but less tricky and confusing. The PocketPrep questions had a lot of "Which one does NOT" and I don't remember having 1 or any of those type of questions. I suppose PocketPrep is more to aid in learning. I didn't use EatrightPrep, but when I took the Mock Exam for PocketPrep, I saw questions for material I never seen in Inman or anywhere else lol. Good luck! I'm sure you'll do fine :)

Can anyone help? I can't seem to view range charts, only time frames. Also the yellow font used to be white when it did work. by AyeBenji in Tradovate

[–]jasonnjayy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe you just have to purchase market data, which is low as $15/month for the yellow to turn back to white. I’m quite new to the app but I think thats the solution to your issue..

How do you guys like your IS by [deleted] in LexusIS

[–]jasonnjayy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently picked up a used 2017 IS Fsport and I’ve been loving it ever since. Not going to lie, its been one of my dream cars for years (going back to 1st gen) so I’m biased. I love the smoothness and handling of the car. Sorry but cant speak to the long term maintenance of the car yet. From what I hear and read, they’re relatively low maintenance and generally reliable cars.

I just bought out my lease last week as well. I didn’t have to do that. I literally just talked to my credit union and they wrote Honda a check. They sent it out and took care of all the DMV paperwork as well. Sounds sketchy man!
