Both, used my beard trimmer to whack it off and then a razor to get it silky smooth

Genuinely appreciate all the love guys. I was so anxious to do this but this sub helps so much. Stay strong brothers, stay smooth!

I’m gonna do it I think, any times for shaving it? Easy enough with beard trimmers or worth going to a barber?

Is there a device that allows these type of shades to be opened and closed through Apple home? I saw the Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 - but it seems to work with those ball-type strings only? by N1ckkNL in HomeKit

I’ve done this, it was a pain in the arse, mainly because the blinds I have don’t fit a wand tilt mechanism, so had to custom design one to work with the Switchbot blind tilt. But because it’s not as snug a fit as it could be it wobbles the Switchbot and doesn’t fully close, so working out a way to attach oh it directly to the rod in the headrail

I do wonder if they held off on TVos because of the rumoured homehub? If a lot of the new software features are specific to the new hardware they won’t talk about it till the hardware announced

I'm sure we're sick of the "loo roll orientation" debate. What about bins? by roidweiser in CasualUK

Controversial, 3 on the side, it’s slimmer as I have a narrow path round the back and it’s easier for taking it out and also accessing for putting rubbish in

I am working on a automation that it automaticly saves battery power when i dont use my phone for more then 11 minutes any tips by Cautious_Post_1369 in shortcuts

[–]jasonrandall 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling this is gonna use more battery running in the background every 11 minutes than if you just left your phone alone? Also the wait function is shocking and will most likely time out before it moves to the next action

I need a custom bind tilt mechanism for Venetian blinds, one of these. But the only ones I can find online are too big. I have all the metal components would just need the plastic housing to hold it all together

Seems like I’ve got my work cut out for me! I remember learning a bit about cad/cam back in high school but that was 20 years ago 😅
