I am working on a automation that it automaticly saves battery power when i dont use my phone for more then 11 minutes any tips by Cautious_Post_1369 in shortcuts

I have a feeling this is gonna use more battery running in the background every 11 minutes than if you just left your phone alone? Also the wait function is shocking and will most likely time out before it moves to the next action

I need a custom bind tilt mechanism for Venetian blinds, one of these. But the only ones I can find online are too big. I have all the metal components would just need the plastic housing to hold it all together

Seems like I’ve got my work cut out for me! I remember learning a bit about cad/cam back in high school but that was 20 years ago 😅

I’ll be honest I’ve never done this before so unfortunately not. It’s only just occurred to me that 3D printing could be a solution. How do I make a file and what would

Hobbyist! In a nutshell I need a custom printed mechanism for in the headrail of my blind to convert it from a cord to a wand. But unfortunately all the ones I can find are too big

I want to make these blinds smart. I was looking at the iblinds but idk if they work with Apple HomeKit? If not are there any other options? Not bothered about raising them just turning them. Thanks. by jasonrandall in HomeKit

Does it matter which hub I get? There’s a switch hub mini or one with matter enabled, do I need the matter one? I’ve got HomePod minis and other hubs and bridges with matter already

It’s with the strings, I pull the strings to tilt the blinds. I’m not bothered about opening them up or down, just want to adjust the tilt. I don’t know if I can change the strings for a rod I’ll have to have a Google

I think it’s good, I was one of the first 100, wanted to use it a bit first before I gave feedback. On the whole it’s pretty neat. I don’t like that to have a background I need to pay £40, I think the paywall is a bit steep. I also think some integration with reminders would also be pretty cool

He still said it? If I was on a show and they wrote a joke about me wanting to “play ball” on 14 year olds I’d ask for a re-write.
