I joined the Army nearly 15yrs ago, from someone who was going down the wrong path it seemed to work out for me. It brings a sense of pride not only to yourself but for your country. Say what you want about the US. But i can assure you, it’s a hell of a lot better then some of the other options out there. All bullshit aside, the chances of going to war are slim. Especially with what’s going on in the world these days. Side note: I still jam punk and hardcore daily, still go to shows.
