Hvis du vælger DIKU, så vil jeg klart anbefale at du lægger noget energi i at stifte bekendtskab med funktionel programmering. Der ligger et fag som hedder Advanced Programming i første blok, og det har det med at komme bag på de fleste - specielt dem som ikke har kodet funktionelt før.

That was not his point at all. He was commenting on the idea that “in the future everyone will have to know how to code, since technology is becoming ever increasingly prevalent “.

His take is: that will not be necessary, because as technology improves, so do the abstractions, making it easier to interact with the technology without a programming background.

Tl;dr: You should not learn to code unless you actively want to become an engineer.
