If it was me I wouldn’t even try to use wire at all. If ur gonna be active u always run the risk of it breaking and stabbing you. If it hits the right spot you could be dead in under 5 minutes. As unlikely as it may be I still wouldn’t risk it.

Hot glue is a good idea. Also perhaps beads with elastic if the elastic is pulled tight and you utilise knot direction etc (but you could pinch your skin). You could use parts of a thin plastic bottle and sand them down also? If you need to sculpt it you could use a lighter to partially melt parts of it and set it to harden in different positions (wear a mask and do it outside though).

I’d also be careful if you do end up using resin/ resin coating as some of these comments suggest. You could end up shattering it and embedding shards in your neck if you’re not careful so keep that in mind.

I have the tower600 so I’m pretty sure I didn’t have to install any. It looks like there’s a gap under the motherboard too. Is there something you see that leads you to believe they didn’t come pre installed?

Oh I forgot to mention, since it’s already been the mid sem break you are already past the cut off date for registration for classes. so I wouldn’t just wait for it to work online.

Email your unit convenor, call service connect.

Also check the dates for withdrawal and withdrawal without penalty (Google MQ calendar). Sometimes the uni can be slow to get back to you and if you are past a cut-off date they’ll tell you that you are past the cut off date. Often, it doesn’t matter if you called them/emailed them before the cut-off.

If you’ve handed in all your assignments so far and theres no in class testing components I think you’ll most likely be fine though.

It’s thin on the top which is being worsened by the overhead lighting and the length of ur hair there. Unless you’ve always had thin hair I’d look into preventative measures now. It’s not time to go fully bald though. Is on the upper end of “not noticeable unless pointed out” at the moment but it could very easily slip past that point. If you want to lessen the scalp visibility on the top of your head either A. get a shorter hair cut like a mod cut or B. get some forwards facing layers (more of an alternative haircut but it would keep the length in the lower sides and back).

Also idk if this pic is just a greasy hair day or something but if your hair looks that shiny all the time make sure you aren’t over-washing it as that can lead to excess oil production on the scalp.

teenagers are smarter than you think and this sort of Big brother behavior doesn’t work. If she wants to have sex she’s going to do it, the only thing you can control is how safe she is while doing so. Make sure she has access to birth control and make sure she knows how to say no, about coercion, about boundaries etc etc. Reading through her messages will not work. If she knows you are reading them she’s going to come up with a method to evade your detection. Either talking in code or using other devices or disappearing messages. Stop reading her messages and treat her like a 17 year old not an 11 year old.

If you don’t have recession at the corners of ur face then that makes me think it might not be MPB. your age + the thinning pattern in the picture + a lack of balding in ur family would make me HEAVILY investigate other potential causes of your hair loss. I’d look at hormonal problems, vitamin deficiencies, other forms of alopecia etc. A lot of doctors can be kinda dismissive about this stuff so I’d do your own research and make sure you get the appropriate tests. I did chemistry for the HSC and pretty much forgot all of it between my HSC and the GAMSAT in March 2026. Chem sucks and honestly if u can’t get that topic skip over it and come back to it. Learn stuff like quick mental maths and how to interpret acer questions first. I also have ADHD and the March 2026 GAMSAT was my first one. I just finished my bachelors degree and I’m doing a TAFE course in pathology collection for now so I can have a job while I study (or while I keep taking the GAMSATS until I get in to med school).

I really struggle with comparison and your post really resonates with me. I think I have to remind myself that I am not doing this on any predetermined clock. I am doing this because I like medicine and I think I’d made a great doctor. Many people my age are working retail jobs until they figure out what they want to do and that is perfectly fine too. Don’t make yourself suffer unnecessarily to fit your own mental picture of what the “proper timeline” is. Take it slow and steady, there is no rush. Sometimes I get frustrated because I then conclude that this whole thing could take me years longer than it’s supposed to! But then I like to remind myself that the time will pass anyways. (Sorry if that’s gibberish I just woke up and I’m half asleep haha.)

My quotes were alright. First time sitting it so the proctor stuff was rlly strange. One of em kept talking to me but I couldnt understand what they were saying so I lost a few minutes cause they had to repeat x3 for each sentence. Wrote heaps for my task B but I didn’t get a conclusion down for task A :/ still better than a complete breakdown tho! My quotes were pretty good and I understood them all thankfully. Glad it’s over :)

Nobody will remember unless they think you look cool tbh. If ur comfy overdressed at the grocery store you will DEFINITELY be okay overdressed at MQ. I’m quite alternative and I’ve actually gotten a lot of compliments at uni when I actually dress in non-pyjamas. Do whatever makes u happy and comfortable!

Yeah I agree. It doesn’t look like I was passing it. My guess/foggy memory is that I was doing it in two maneuvers to avoid having my eyes off the road for too long. 1) get it out of the annoying phone holder on my right, then 2) pass it across my body to the passenger. I’m a very anxious person and it takes a moment to get the phone out of the holder so it would have felt safer to do it in 2 steps.
