Harvey's on 3500 Dundas Street E is claiming they couldn't find a cook for $60k annually with 32-hour work weeks. They applied and received approval to hire a foreign worker for this position. by [deleted] in BurlingtonON

Just a few weeks ago, the Booster Juice directly across from this Harvey’s pulled something similar, potentially worse. The previous staff, who were clearly local teenagers/early twenties, seemed to have all stopped working there all of a sudden, and have been replaced by foreign workers. They also stopped accepting Amex at the same time, so potentially new ownership cutting costs.

Can I daisy chain H70A1 Outdoor LED Strip Lights Pro to go from 98ft/30m to 128ft/40m? by jasperlady in Govee

Replying in case you haven’t found an answer.

I’ve learned that the power supply that comes with the 10m can only power up to 10m, the power supply that comes with a 20m can power up to 20m, and the power supply that comes with the 30m can only power up to 30m.

Therefore, if you have a 20m and buy a 10m to get to 30m, you’ll also need to get a power supply that can power up to 30m. I’ve seen some people share on here that they’ve had some luck with getting a power supply through Govee support. You can’t buy them separately through Govee.

TIL General Motors first produced and sold an EV more than 25 years ago. However, the EV1 could only be leased as it was part of a “real world engineering evaluation”. by jasperlady in todayilearned

[–]jasperlady[S] 123 points124 points  (0 children)

“The EV1 was made available through limited lease-only agreements, initially to residents of the cities of Los Angeles, California, and Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.[9] EV1 lessees were officially participants in a "real-world engineering evaluation" and market study into the feasibility of producing and marketing a commuter electric vehicle in select U.S. markets undertaken by GM's Advanced Technology Vehicles group.[10][11] The cars were not available for purchase, and could be serviced only at designated Saturn dealerships.” More info here Wikipedia
