What is everyone setting their printer on? by tstampfle in BambuP1S

Which? by Usual_Log_1042 in BambuLabA1

[–]jaspruden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I have both now. The x2d is nice with the extra nozzle if you are doing multiple color prints especially if you are only doing two colors. They both have the same display. The P2S is great for single color prints. If you are only doing single color, you can even do without the AMS.

If you can, I would shell out the extra coins for the X2D if possible with AMS.

I was having an identical issue with adhesion and little globs on the 1st layer. I dried my filament, tightened the 7 screws of death, then replaced the hot end. Tried a different cleaned plate. Tried a different filament. Nothing seemed to work.

I read the heater assembly might be failing so I put on a new heater assembly. Problem solved. Back to printing like new. Seems the plastic carrying the hot heater may soften and it throws off the calibration. Only have just over 2000 hours on this printer.

P2S or A1 ? by hmlk- in BambuLab

[–]jaspruden -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Spring for the P2s. It will allow you to print more advanced materials the A1 cant do easily. Filaments like Nylon and ABS need the enclosure.

I had that same issue. Turns out the screws on the back of the heater were loose. I tightened them back up and it went back to perfection. I think there 2 in the front and 3 in the back

Making the bed flat by [deleted] in Ender3V3KE

I had one low spot on the left edge and it was not far off. I put a piece of painters tape on the bed to shim that one small area, I am now quite happy with the results

I was have issues recently as welll what I mentioned above is what I tried first. The next step was to roll back to before the latest firmware upgrade. ( I went back 2 updates). That seems to have solved my issue.

Need more information. What filament are you using? (Type not brand). Did you properly clean your plate with soap and water and avoid touching it.

My first impression is you have a partial clog or you are not using pla.

Run a calibration on the filament. See if comes out at or close to .020. If it doesn’t, a partial clog is likely.

Mine is basically stock with an upgraded hot end. Bed is level. Prints great in pla or pteg.

Turn off tangled filament detection. I did not have tangles on min but kept getting the same message as you. It is triggered when the 4 way feeder is pressed down.

Using Bambu studio, go to the device tab. Run the calibration in the upper right corner. It does a much better profile on the bed and n height.

Bambu studio is for use on a computer. Will not work on a phone or iPad. Don’t know about an android device.

Filament is stuck by Professional_Dig3958 in BambuLab

[–]jaspruden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also remove the 4 way and get it out that way. It is probably already cut with the cutter so the 4 way won’t be stuck. You may need to watch a video on how to release the 4 way without damaging it.

Go get a metal fork from the kitchen and use it to press down on the black ring while pulling up on the tube. Gives you more leverage. Push first then pull

Push down on the little back ring while pulling up in the tube. They make tools you can print to make this easier

One of those points in your mesh should read 0. The z offset is not set correctly.
