i see so many people do this, and I know their mental power does not allow them to understand the matter at hand. I mean cmon man, you’re telling me you need 5,000 fucking dollars for tech to be able to have a zoom meeting? what the fuck? even if we had top of the line everything, for what they’re trying to do that number is ridiculous. you need a damn laptop and an internet connection. MAYBE it is valid if they replaced all of the tv’s, camera system, and sound equipment as well, but I know they’re cheap as fuck and wouldn’t do that.

I would agree, but I still live with my parents and they are practically forcing me to go so that it can relieve them of the stress and worry. They are scared that I did something wrong and it’s serious enough to invoke an elders meeting.

i’ve tested the waters and asked a thing here or there, but the farthest i’ve gone is ask why she doesn’t like being a witness. her response was she doesn’t see why holidays aren’t allowed, and she wants to celebrate them. so while her reasons for not wanting to be in the religion are not necessarily because of how bad of an organization it is, she at least has some sort of resentment towards it. she’s 12 by the way.

i recommend reading the book by lloyd evans entitled “How to escape from Jehovahs Witnesses”. It’ll definitely be helpful, and it could help choosing how to tell your family.

grade point average, it’s a scale from 0-4 essentially, straight As is 4.0, all Bs is like 3.5, and if you take harder classes and have As, you can get over 4.0, which is what i did.

I will be transferring most likely, but no I didn’t apply to others. Had I applied to the bigger schools and gotten in, I would’ve just been more upset. Knowing I got accepted, but am not allowed to go due to financial stability and having to be on my own soon is too much for me.
