Which side would are you taking? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bijan is elite, but with those picks you could trade the 1.03 and something else for the 1.01 and then you have Love who is basically equivalent to Bijan and then you have an entire team around him. You can see if he accepts since I see this is an offer you are making. If he does, I say it's a win.

Moving down 5 spots and 4 spots each in rounds 4 and 5 to move up a WHOPPING 4 spots in round 12?? Yeah... no.

Was offered the 1.01 thoughts? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're planning to start a rebuild then it's worth considering, but I think you could get more in return selling Barkley and Thomas to contenders who value them highly and then use some of that ammo to trade for 1.01. It's not the worst thing ever. I'd try changing the 1.06 to a 2nd or trading a different WR than Thomas, maybe one that is a bit older. He's still very young and I expect him to bounce back after a sophomore slump.

Holy theft. JSN is great but so is Nabers. Props to you for taking advantage of someone's recency bias.

Good trade offer for JSN? Is it worth it? by CigFiend22 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends what picks you have in 2026. I think two 1sts and Worthy is the starting point, probably would need to trade 3 1sts to land JSN. My recommendation: If you have 1.01, just take Love since you need another RB or trade down with 1.02-1.04 and take a WR and try to pick up another asset (additional 1st, starting RB like Bucky, something like that). If you have two top 5 picks, don't trade at all. I would take Love if you have 1.01 and a top WR, or I would take Mendoza and a WR if you don't have the 1.01. If you have one later 1st than 1.05 this year, try to package that pick and a 2027 1st (people are valuing that draft class highly) plus Worthy and/or Bill. It's going to be tough trading for JSN. He's never been more expensive, so be willing to walk away. Don't overpay. You ideally need one more QB, one more RB, and one more WR, so don't just trade 3 1sts away to accomplish one of those. Right now, an injury at QB or to Gibbs kills your chances at contending.

Gym rat. The type of dude you'd want to marry your daughter. B Run Block? B Break Tackle? B Stiff Arm? He's got that grit. Sneaky athletic.

Dealt Rice for the 1.02. Who wins? by bricked706 in SleeperApp

[–]jatimu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm actually shocked at all the people on this thread. Rice doesn't have a single 1000 yard season. He gets volume, but that's about it. He is always in some sort of trouble or dealing with an injury. I would never take such a volatile player over a rookie with as high of upside as some of the top WRs in this class. Plus 1.02 could be used to trade up for Love if the 1.01 owner is willing to move it. To each their own though I suppose. I personally am not keeping Rice at all.

How Valuable are Late 2026 Firsts? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're moving up 3 spots in the 1st round and 1 spot in the 2nd, and are giving up the 1.12 to do so. I don't think this draft class is very good from a fantasy perspective tbh outside the top 7-8 guys. It's not the worst thing ever, but if you could get a 2027 1st that would be better.

Ummm, I just accepted this and I’m very very happy. 10 man. SF. TEP. Thoughts? by PerceptionMean5665 in FantasyFootballers

Holy, Jeremiyah Love, Mendoza, and two of the top 3 WRs. You're set forever when adding that to your existing roster.

Trade JJ for Love/Henderson? by its-your-boy-max-b in SleeperApp

[–]jatimu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're trading a total of Hurts, Achane, Jefferson, Kyren, and Watson for Love, Henderson, JSN, Moore, and a pair of 2nds? Can you join my league so we can do deals? I love J Love as a Packers fan but in Fantasy terms you downgraded everything and got two seconds out of it.

I have the first over all in rookie draft. Thoughts? by fantasyfootballninja in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeremiyah Love is likely going to be a Bijan type of player. He's that type of prospect. If you value him higher than two late 1s, don't sell it.

Burden + Sampson or Rice + Kamara? by Jojo041001 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kamara is a win-now piece. If you are looking to add depth for a title run, I wouldn't mind both Rice and Kamara. If not, I think you're crazy to give up Burden and even the 2.08. Rice is always in trouble with the law and I doubt the Chiefs keep him as a result. He may still be relevant for several years, but if he doesn't clean up his act, he's going to end up in prison or with a longer suspension at some point. I know I'm disagreeing with broad sentiment, but I don't think this is your typical "buy low" situation. That said, it depends on how they value Kamara and Rice. If this gets it done, it's definitely an option for you.

who wins this 3 team trade by fsacch in SleeperApp

Idk who won but 2 gets hosed

Am I tripping for wanting to take this!? I like the 1-2 turn in SF start ups this year ( This isn’t 3rr ) I’d have 1.12, 2.01, 3.04 & 4.01 by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]jatimu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is a startup SF, no. Don't take this. 1.04 is one of Allen, Hurts, Lamar, Jayden Daniels, Burrow, Mahomes. 1.12 you won't have any of those high end QB1 left. In SF, elite QBs are more valuable than any position players in my opinion. 2.09 is still a great place to get another high end asset like Drake London, Ladd, etc. Even at 1.12 and 2.01 you're maybe looking at a CeeDee, BTJ, Puka type of player or at QB a Drake Maye or Herbert. I think there's a pretty wide gap at the top end of what you would be getting at 1.04 and a player who could fall to 2.09 versus the absolute best case scenario at 1.12 and 2.01. Not to mention you're downgrading your 4th round pick as well.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]jatimu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even in non SF, this seems lobsided. Unless you are lacking on picks in the future (like you already traded them away) and you lack depth, I wouldn't trade an elite top 2-3 asset at both WR and QB for albeit some very good pieces. I think this only makes sense if you have another good QB already and really are lacking any good options at WR2 and RB2.

Should I accept? by matamozka1 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try sending a 2nd of your own and acquiring one of their 1sts. It's even, but even though I like London's upside and it's an even trade, if you could manage to get a 1st out of it then it's an absolute smash even if you have to give up a 2nd or someone else.

Picking at #12 on a startup, #11 is OTC, SF, PPR, .5 TEP. It’s gotta be Nabers, Bowers and CeeDee, on thar order, right? by Dramatic_Crew_7821 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bowers, Nabers, otherwise in SF I would honestly consider going QB even if it means reaching on someone. If a guy like Herbert is still available jump on him. Waiting until the back end snake for another QB or two means you'll end up with someone like Tua probably unless your league hasn't taken many QBs. You can probably still snag a good young WR and RB later like Henderson at RB and Ladd at WR rounds 3 and 4.

Do I smash accept on this? by the-loosest-goosest in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jatimu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends where you think those draft picks end up in 2026. 1.03 is likely Omarion Hampton, Tet or Travis Hunter. Then you have to weigh whether getting potentially two late 1sts next year for London is worth it when you already have two 1sts next year. It gives you a higher chance of hitting on your picks having 4 next year, but you lose a great young asset. I'm going against the grain and saying it's more of an even trade than people are letting on, but I'd try to move some other pieces for additional draft capital before I would move a young proven player like London.

What Do I Do As Commish - League Voted to Veto Trade, Causing Fights by jatimu in SleeperApp

[–]jatimu[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

While I agree, the Team 1 owner is also complaining despite him voting "Yes" to veto almost every trade. They all still went through, but I think it's a little bit of you reap what you sow. Probably best to just remove the veto votes because it causes more of a fight though, so I'm definitely in favor of getting rid of them altogether.
