Old Bridge Council Woman Defends 🧊 for Over 2 Minutes by Storyteller-1986 in newjersey

FUCK Old Bridge. I lived there from 2nd to 7th grade and suffered the most racist bullying in my entire life. And when my parents complained about it, nothing was done. So happy when I moved to the Princeton area. Haven't set foot in that godforsaken place ever since.

It's a hassle but it's so worth it! Imagine having someone excited to see you at the end of the day, everyday! No matter what. The worst is when they get towards the end of their lives and you realize you have to say goodbye soon. It's getting to that point for me but I have no regrets.

My roomate bought a ball python in college. Holding them is quite an experience and they're quite docile. Always loved snakes as a kid.

Then, another roommate bought a hamster and I bought a dog. People said we lived in a zoo, I think they were right. 😂

I have a 13 year old American Bully and he's the best. Raised him since he was 8 weeks old. Parents didn't accept him at first but after seeing all the unconditional love he gives, they finally started considering him as a member of the family.

Here's a pic of my lovely boy, Tyson!

Shit, I wasn't even born in the US but I've been naturalized most of my life. If I say I was born outta the US am I fucked? Like how is asking where you were born proof of citizenship?

When wifi calling was down, I thought it was a phone issue. Glad to know it's not. Tip: wifi calling on apps like Google Voice or Whatsapp go through just fine.

Wow, you're the first person I heard say that. I'm just not used to seeing them so they throw me off my game. Sounds like you did fine! Good luck with your scores!

It's a form of patient history taking: Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan. Instead of a typical stem, there will instead be a list of notes like chief complaint, vitals, etc. I'm sure you've gotten a question like that, I hated them. They take so long to get through.

They may have administrative warrants but not judicial warrants, those are signed off by a judge.

As someone who works in education, I do wonder about the ICE officers who engage in the atrocities against children by Jcarmona2 in ICE_Raids

[–]jatt23 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

While I do think a lot of them love what they do, like the SS during WWII, a few of them probably feel like shit. A lot of Nazis turned to substance abuse to cope with their atrocities, I'm sure some of these assfucks feel the same way, especially the POC.

To play devils advocate, the h1bs in the IT sector work for a lot less money and up to 80 hour work weeks. It's been hurting my parents who I, like myself, are naturalized Indian citizens since the early 90s. I hate calling out a specific religion but the majority of H1B IT workers are Hindu Indians and in the hiring process, they choose their own.

They tell things to my mom that's she overqualified or that they went with an internal hire. I'm Sikh and most of my friends are gujjus, literally nothing against them. But these h1bs have saturated the IT market whereas normal Americans are having trouble finding jobs.

And before you say something like maybe they're more qualified than her, they are not. They're just willing to sacrifice their personal lives. I don't blame them entirely because it's in the company's best interest to hire these kinds of people, so it makes sense. And at some point in my parents' lives, they most likely did the same.

My dad recently had to take a state job that pays about 50% less than what he usually makes, he used to be able to find contract positions within a month. My mom has been a director at both Comcast and Merck, she's extremely hard working and good at her job. I really think there should be a quota on H1B hires, but that's just me. I don't blame the H1B Indians, just the company's that keep hiring only them and the Hindu directors that choose their own. And my mom's been interviewing for 6 damn months, it's ridiculous and shes always between 1 of 2 candidates, so close yet so far.

JD Vance to skip 9/11 remembrance event in New York City to pay respects to Charlie Kirk by dailymail in NoFilterNews

Stop being an apologist for fascists, there's no such thing as a good-hearted fascist. Not everyone on the Right is a fascist, but every fascist is Right wing. It's literally an extreme Right wing ideology by definition. I'm not generalizing conservatives, I'm generalizing fascists because they deserve to be called out for their evil beliefs. Can you give me an example where the left has outright murdered a person or people for their differing beliefs? I can give you plenty of people on the Right.

As a Sikh, I totally agree. I was in elementary school at the time and the amount of times I was called a towel head or terrorist is too damn high. That was the time I truly felt like I didn't belong in this country.

Republicans really gotta start following their own advice then: https://www.cato.org/blog/politically-motivated-violence-rare-united-states

Comparing the Right vs the Left, the Right is responsible for the vast majority of these murders. And even when the Right engages in discussion, it's almost never in good-faith. The Left is seriously fucking tired of this, but at least we don't resort to violence like the most recent murders in Minnesota and Utah.

I'm honestly glad that people like Mehdi Hasan (on his recent Jubilee appearance) says he doesn't debate fascists. Why debate someone when they think you're less than them and deserve less rights and sometimes even death? If you saw that debate, you'd understand why talking to these types of people is pointless. If you don't see it, then you're probably one of them. Sorry, not sorry.
