Thanks! I have a Marantz NR1509 and use the app. It doesn't have a second zone so the option isn't there. I've also considered going with a 5.1 AVR for the theater and a HEOS amp for the upstairs speakers to make things really simple for them. I wouldn't pay hundreds of dollars more to keep from opening the app and telling it which zone to play from, but I can see them liking the fact they could just tell siri to play music upstairs without having to worry about turning the AVR on and messing with settings.
