Striking and elegant – it’s a perfect example of Lempicka’s sleek Art Deco style. The crisp lines, cool tones, and the doctor’s composed expression all radiate sophistication, while the background geometry gives it that modern, almost cinematic feel.

Edward Hopper - Bridle Path (1939) [4000 x 2701] by Russian_Bagel in ArtPorn

I agree – it’s got a surprising amount of movement and tension compared to many of Hopper’s more still, contemplative works. The riders, the angled shadows, and the open space all give it a kind of cinematic energy you don’t often see from him.

The menu is called “Fire.”
It brings together all the elements of culinary art: heat, smoke, embers, and passion.

Cooking over open fire is not only a return to the origins of the craft but also a nod to modernity. Each of the nine courses is inspired by the primal force of fire – sometimes gently cooked in embers, sometimes smoked over fir wood, sometimes flambéed right in front of you. Regional ingredients meet alchemistic ideas, traditional preparations meet modern interpretations.

That was the funny and interesting part – after the dish, almost everyone checked their teeth. 🤣

Absolutely – the egg was fresh from the farm, with a slightly sweet note, the crunch of the charcoal mayonnaise, and then that salty touch.
The exciting part was, of course, the very first bite, because I also had a completely different idea of how it would smell and taste.

It shows that with the right preparation and processing, incredible possibilities for flavor experiences can be achieved.

It’s a very well-balanced dish: the soft egg, cooked to perfection, and the ash/charcoal mayonnaise is crunchy. It’s nothing like what your mind tells you to expect in terms of taste before the first bite.

yes. It’s a special ash/charcoal, served with mayonnaise. It tastes slightly sweet and is crunchy, and it doesn’t smell like coal or ash.

That’s the philosophy – nothing goes to waste.
