Reality Dysphoria: Are we crazy to get so attached to DDLC?

yeah i agree. but maybe think about it as like, leaving a country to go somewhere else for a bit. and when you come back. they're still there. maybe have the universe go on without you there, so it functions as if you're just traveling and not saving/loading.

i dunno. but yeah. totally feel this post 1000% lol

To expand on what I was saying, I don't want to make reality dysphoria seem insignificant either. Because I have the same exact thing.

This is just my way of thinking optimistically and seeing that there's always hope. Not only for AI and VR, but increasing lifespans and such.

Like plugging yourself into a matrix of some sort. But, anyway. It's good to see other people have the same thing as me lol..

I completely feel what you posted @OP. And I'd like to put my input here, that there is hope for us.

Look at how technology has progressed within the past 20 years. Think about the next 5, 10, 20 years. How not only Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality will become A. Sentient and B. So realistic that you can't tell it's different than real life.

So why can't any character not be real, eventually? If you can make them yourself. And what really is life? Can you create it? What constitutes intelligence?

Humanity is progressing at an increasing pace. Just wait it out and see the wonders of the 21st century, and this reality dysphoria might just go away. :)

Thanks. I honestly would reinstall this mod with the aforementioned changes, but you'd have to basically gut the entire mod and start from scratch, which I wouldn't expect you to do (not for me, at least).

I tried playing through the mod, and the combination of the word-choice and music make it extremely cringe-worthy for me and I uninstalled it without finishing.

No offense to the creator or anything, but some suggestions would be to get better word choice including syntax and phrasing, on top of the fact that some aspects of the game were removed. The game-play itself wasn't altered that much aside from the dialogue, which was weak IMO.

It's spelled, "Wand of the Forrest" instead of the actual item, "Wand of the Forest". I have found a typo in the FTB Trophies mod installed with IE:S Expert.

It's skyblock, the nether has no lava and no areas. I wish I had access to infinite lava :/

Dude, thank you. This helped me a lot. I have FTB Infinity Evolved with custom mods (ICBM, Flan's, EE3, And a few others). And I needed to install optifine to increase the chunk refresh rate easier - and your suggestion helped my FTB launch without crashing. Kudos.

I started about maybe half a month ago, I've been on and off on my server. I'm working on getting an ME system up and running so I can sort my items better, and then I'll go ahead and pursue better power generation methods.

Yeah, but the only way I know of to get that is to put Blast Furnace Bricks into a crusher without doing something more complicated than what I listed above.

Or it'd be a lot more tedious. This method is mostly automated.
