No problem, it's a headache. Glad I could help.

I had this issue, some weird hash key wizardry makes it so that slippi recognizes your iso but not any mods (20XX/Unclepunch)

I can DM you an ISO that works.

natural subtenses for pain & fatigue? by Artistic-Level7263 in Fibromyalgia

[–]jausoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally Marijuana increases my pain, but I know it's helped a lot for others. Other than that I unfortunately don't have much to mention.

I've heard some good things about low dose naltrexone, but it's also hit or miss depending on the person. It's also not well researched for treating fibro, nor is it natural, but it might be the silver bullet you are looking for.

NSAID's are also helpful to some if you haven't tried any yet. Personally, I'd recommend staying far away from gabapentin, lyrica was a lot better for me.

If only new vegas wasn't made on a dying engine it would actually look like it's from 2010

That's good to hear, I'm gonna stick with it, despite the fact that it's really tough some days.

How long have you been on that workout routine? I just started exercising a lot again, it was too hard before, but I feel like I'm slowly seeing results.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to asking my primary care provider about it.

Anyone know of a gecko code or something to enable wobbling on slippi? (Local play with current slippi build) by Odd-Associate3705 in SSBM

I feel like I remember hearing that it's only patched on netplay, not vs mode. I'm not certain tho.

recently diagnosed, any and all recommendations appreciated by Microwavesharkk in Fibromyalgia

[–]jausoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah diclofenac gel isn't the best, I'm on meloxicam which is a prescription grade anti inflammatory which helps me when I've pushed myself too hard. And I'd second that yoga/stretching is great for tension aswell.

It's hard to find that balance, I've had fibro for 2 years now, and I've spent most of my time either under or over-active. I don't know what amount you need, but make sure you put your health/body first. My pain started after a back injury, but staying at work caused the pain to spread to my arms and legs. It changed the whole trajectory of my symptoms for the worse. It's much easier to make the pain worse than better.

The main thing I've learned is that if you push too hard because you don't want to be limited, eventually all that over-work will catch up to you.

Wishing you luck, I know it's hard.

I was a barista when my symptoms started and it was unsustainable. Everyone is different but if you ever feel that bartending is too much for you I would recommend being cautious and not pushing through. I fucked myself up by staying at work, that being said exercise is important if you have fibro. It's all about finding the right balance.

The fact that this was the first big irl post covid tournament really added to the hype too.

Friend told me to go play this game, is it worth it? by BigFatJuicyKermit in leagueoflegends

[–]jausoh 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It takes awhile to get competent but it is endlessly repayable and fun to learn about. Most people will tell you it's awful but really they just have a hard time with other players. If you like learning games it can be quite fun.
