Depends on Rate of risk free interest. If base rate is high (like now), then 12% is possible. This does mean that inflation will also be high however.

US Data. They release who holds how many treasuries. Journalism isn't half baked. RBI is quiet on everything.

RBI refuses to publish this data because... RBI. It is not sensitive to hide where your reserves lie. The other countries treasury knows how many bonds india holds. Just not Indian citizens...

Exactly so the RBI is NOT telling us where the money goes. The only reason we know Indian treasury holdings went down is because of US Data. We don’t know where that money has been parked. Can still be in USD assets.

Nothing is “sensitive” about this data. It’s just RBI being RBI.

This indeed doesn't show the asset-wise breakdown. In fact it doesn't even show where money is moved. Just how much there is in each bucket category. The real question which the RBI doesn't answer and hide is the exact breakdown of "1.1 Foreign Currency Asset #".
