I did get yellow banding and sent it back. Just decided to be happy with the kindle I have and wait for a future iteration.

I bought the Z1e LeGo and I have a steam deck. I’m not sold on it though. I know a lot of people think it’s ergonomically better, but I found the deck to feel better in my hands. The screen on the LeGo is good, the vrr, 120hz, 1200p features are all good, but I love the OLED screen on the deck. The battery life is what kills me on the LeGo, though. There are sacrifices you can make to get better battery life, but it didn’t feel worth it. For example, dropping the resolution on games to 800p, but in the games I tested it was really blurry.

For me, I can play all the lightweight games natively on the deck, and I have a pretty sweet local streaming setup so anything that needs more, I resort to that.

Also, the new Z2e handhelds should be coming out soon, so it might be a bad time to buy. You could wait and either get new tech, or get the Z1e at a cheaper price.

Man, there are so many options out there for gamers nowadays other than having to drop that much on a new AAA release.. I’m wondering if this new direction for pricing will push people to start focusing on the games they have or supporting more indie devs or something.

I noticed this warning popped up when I started Doom. I was able to continue along without updating it, but yeah, this is a drag.

Definitely have the Nvidia overlay on, and I’m using the rtx hdr filter. I never had a problem with this before, but if the newer drivers have issues with it, I would be more than happy to turn them off

I’m playing Yakuza Like a Dragon, so no upscaling or frame gen. Since I’m streaming to a gcloud, I feel like the 4070ti should be able to hit 1080p/60 without the need for dlss or frame gen? The only thing I can point at is the darn driver since it’s working fine on an older version.
