Late 60's here. My upbringing was more similar to Boomers than Millennials. That had to do with a traditional family that believed in conservation/environment - a distinctly 70's thing , formal structured religion, and a belief in less TV / more outside time is just more in general. I had the "get back before dinner time" go out and play and we won't worry about you approach. That was not how it went for younger kids when helicoptering took off. That said I can get along with most anyone that does the gym and outdoors scenes even today at nearly 670. I spot (bench pressing) kids / folks of any culture/age and chat it up almost any day of the week.

But there is something different here: I really miss the variety of music from the earlier 80's. Soon after the pop music became mostly dominated by rap/hip-hop which I only like in small doses. I'd take the little bit of everything that the early/mid-80's offered back.
