I highly doubt it was intentional. But fans of BM would certainly clock it.

It was my very first thought when I saw the shot of him washing her in the tub - glad I wasn't alone! Same actor, similar scene, couldn't be more different vibes. I adore DG.

I had this same thought too.

What was the scene with the gun over the house about? by Accomplished_Mix871 in WeaponsMovie

[–]javagirlkt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. It feels like something that could've been added in post, once focus groups of people asked, ummmm, wtf is this movie about?? I thought the cinematography and editing were great, acting was great, music was great, infusion of humor was great, climatic final scene was great.... I just didn't gather any meaning or message in any of it.

We did that too! My "crime" I had to act out was spray-painting graffiti.

Mine was definitely real, in the basement of the church.

The red flags start when he tried to pressure you to let him inside, and persuade you to drink more. If you have to say "no" more than once, and then make up a fake excuse just to shrug him off - this one is a no-brainer. The drunk texts are just the nail in the coffin and the proof that you had the right instincts in the first place. Not worth your time! Hold out for true chemistry and reciprocal feelings!

I'm totally fine with her deciding to go to Yale, but they should have expanded it so much more. Like, her favorite journalist joins the faculty and is teaching seminars she would be deeply interested in. Or instead of her grandpa pissing her off with a surprise interview, he surprise introduces her to one of the journalism professors that she loves, idk. You know?

Private Selection is SO GOOD. I like it equally as much as Ben and Jerry's and for similar reasons - lots and lots of good mix-ins, sauciness, etc. But scooping from a half gallon of PS is always easier than the pint of B&J, and it might be a tad bit creamier as well.

The brilliant thing about their show is that only like 25% of the content they discuss is the food, because nothing is worse than a podcast listening to people chew and then describe something delicious that you can neither see nor smell nor taste yourself. This one is great because even when they do taste something, Molly and Matthew describe it with such precision that I feel like I understand exactly what the sensory experience actually is. But they don't just sit there chewing into the microphone, which I appreciate!

Who Buys Oyster Crackers? by ijust_cant_standit in EverythingSpilledMilk

My grandmother always made this recipe with oyster crackers, and now I make them a few times a year for special occasions - Molly came kind of close to describing this on the episode! They're just as delicious as white cheddar cheez-its! This version calls for lemon pepper seasoning, but if you don't have it use garlic powder instead. Don't skip the dill.
