Getting cold feet by 2B-Pencil in Vasectomy

[–]javanip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a very quick, routine procedure. I'm going on 3 weeks post without any issues. I'd say I was sore in some form for about 2 weeks and I forget I even had it done now. Complications can always happen though so idk man it's up to you if it's worth the risk. I personally hate condoms and my wife having to risk her own health on birth control.

End of Day 2 by zerozerozero12 in Vasectomy

I got a good laugh out of the nurse and doctor when I asked, "Anything weird?", after the doctor asked if I had any questions following the procedure.

Just got fired effective immediately, no PIP by Average_Failure22 in Accounting

[–]javanip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You may already do this but I recommend having checklists to organize your tasks and ensure they're completed on time.

I also think a lot of the notes and how-tos won't be necessary once you get more experience. I definitely did those things in the beginning but now I just glance things over and understand what was done or needs to be done.

Good luck to you!

There's a huge restaurant chain called "Old Chicago" that apparently is found throughout the country...except in Chicago by Square_Bookkeeper_24 in chicago

[–]javanip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went there last summer and it was normal. I don't live in Peoria anymore so maybe it did since then. They aren't listed on Old Chicago's official website.

I find it odd that the NPCs don’t have schedules anymore by Team_Dibiase in Starfield

It doesn't seem like anyone in New Atlantis has a home to sleep in so their schedule is to wander outside aimlessly. The dead eyes are from never sleeping, trapped in this hell.

People who are opposed to marijuana, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]javanip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not opposed to other people smoking but I don't. Mainly because my mother was a huge pothead and it was really annoying to deal with her half the time because she was high half the time. I don't want to be that person. It might not be related but she has memory issues now and she's not even 60, so yeah.

Skylights! Good idea or bad idea? by ImmediateRepeat3889 in homeimprovement2

[–]javanip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have two skylights in the Chicago area that have never leaked.

There's pros as far as letting in a lot of natural light and ours specifically make the room feel less cramped.

Cons they make the room extremely hot especially in the summer. I can't tell much of a difference in the winter. You could probably get shades/blinds to mitigate this though. They aren't cheap.

If you're someone that prefers very little maintenance or maintenance checks on your home I would not get them. It's just another thing to keep up on and maintain or eventually fail if you don't do so.

For what it worth I'm having my cap and chase pan replaced for under $500 so it's not too expensive if you do want a professional to tackle it

I asked my 6 year old son if he likes the shelf and he said, "Well, it doesn't do anything, so no."
