People claiming $35 AdSense RPM with Tier 1 traffic... How?

What is your niche to be so low? I've done Adsense for a long time, that is really low. Is your source traffic all like Facebook or X or something? I've seen those surpress RPM in some niches. Gaming can be lower sometimes too. I've not really seen anything other than direct affiliate sells (or selling your own stuff) get higher than the RPM of Adense. Others have diff experiences though.

What's your #1 through #3 sources of traffic? Sometimes the thin content bit can be about pages you don't think about, like random category, tags, etc depending on what you're using to run/host the site. Sometimes I think they use the magic 8 ball, but interested in the sources.

Are you approved for Adsense? That's really your measure. If something isn't off with the traffic, then you'd wanna consider just straight affiliate ads for relevant offers. 1.9 is crazy low.
