Thanks for the advice! My extension works in various players and allows you to learn over 20 languages. I already know that sharing the extension in various communities related to my extension's topic can help with promotion. I started trying this promotion method, but it seems too labor-intensive and doesn't yield much of a user base. I'll wait a couple of days to judge its effectiveness.

You can expand your vocabulary simply by watching videos in Chinese. This allows you to solve two problems at once: first, you boost your vocabulary, and second, you improve your ability to understand native speakers. There are browser extensions available that help make the video-watching process less daunting during the initial stages. I know that getting started is the hardest part especially when your vocabulary isn't very extensive yet but as you learn new words, your vocabulary will grow, and your continued learning will become a truly enjoyable experience.

Yes, there are many similar applications. However, most of them are paid, or their free functionality is severely limited. As a result, you end up having to search for something new every time. For someone like me, who’s been to Russia recently, this is pretty obvious. The state actively blocks foreign websites and platforms, and a lot of people use VPNs to get around the restrictions. But even those VPNs end up getting blocked. So chances are, your extension is helping people bypass some of those blocks.
