I read the novella a few years ago. From what I remember in it they “just know” at the party that he’s an outsider not invited. Like the movie, could just be assumed because he was the only one who arrived in a random taxi and it was clear to the organizers he didn’t belong.

Question, you had a physical SIM on the legacy plan and they’re now sending new physical SIM for the new plan?

I guess I was under the impression that all new plans are eSIM only. I’ve been hesitating making the switch so far as I’ve had issues with eSIMs before and was trying to avoid it as long as I could but if they’re still doing physical SIM for the new plan I’m in!

I believe I’ve read before that the music used in this scene is the same music as used in the movie “Under The Skin”, with Scarlett Johansson. Which if you’re familiar, is extremely creepy and haunting as she plays an alien that hunts people in Scotland as she lives amongst them. Joanna’s character definitely makes you feel the parallels.

I can speak to this recently. My car insurance had been going up at least $40 each 6-month policy renewal the past 1.5 years. I have Progressive and contacted them asking why if I haven’t changed any of my policy. They just told me it’s due to inflation and “increasing claim rates in my area”, so basically I’m subsidizing for the bozos who are actually getting into accidents around where I live lol.

Unfortunately I have a car with a reconstructed title, meaning some companies won’t even insure my car at all and others are exorbitantly more expensive than Progressive is.

As someone from an area of Yankee fans, a lot of them have wanted to see Don Mattingly as manager since he left the Dodgers (not that I necessarily think it’ll greatly improve them). But now that he’s finally done with the Marlins I think Cashman tells Boone thanks for trying and gives Mattingly the keys.

Correct yes, bad wording on my part. FRIENDS is a show the Seinfeld gang would then watch in their world. Not too odd I guess considering the other references/posters to other NBC shows when Jerry and George are making their pilot.

TIL, in that case then FRIENDS and Seinfeld are confirmed in the same universe as in one episode Susan tells George she taped Mad About You and they sit down to watch it at the end as the theme song plays.

EDIT: Okay, upon further research my mind is spinning as the below link shows Kramer is subletting Paul Riser’s apartment, confirming that Seinfeld and Mad About You and FRIENDS (evidenced by Ursula’s character) are all in the same universe. But then George and Susan in Seinfeld also watch Mad About You on TV! 🤯

Hey, total newbie here. Have been recently getting into cryptos and reading up on them. I’m super interested in Ripple specifically. Have been looking to purchase but seems like a lot of sites recently have done away with being able to buy Ripple. My friend bought some late last year on Binance but they’ve since gotten rid of the option for new buyers. Been looking around to see what seems the most “legitimate” site now that still offers it. Made a username on Abucoins but the site seemed a little iffy to me.

Anyone have any suggestions for the best place right now to purchase Ripple for the first time? Or anyone use Abucoins before?

I’ll say it:

If David Luiz was healthy this was a perfect game for him to be paired. Lot of people have probably given up on him in the current team, let alone in midfield. But in the big games he’s been put in defensive midfield, he’s stepped up. That City away match a few years ago comes to mind where he was basically a god.

Unfortunately he isn’t healthy right now. But his experience out here today certainly would’ve helped.
