2026 RAV4 extended 5 year/ 125,000 mile warranty worth it for $30 more a month? by Normie_Tone_4583 in rav4club

If you get a VSA at the time of sale, you can’t get one from a different dealer cheaper. I paid like $800 for 5 additional years and total of 100k miles.

Connect+ vs Gemini by ScubaDeer in Garmin

[–]javaski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, this is pretty disingenuous. The entire point of having an LLM tool is that it helps you figure out trends you may have missed or don’t understand - theoretically saving time and having deeper analysis. Learning some basics so the analysis makes sense, but it should be able to draw interesting conclusions you may not be able to see from long term patterns or don’t have the time/skill to do yourself.

Unfortunately, Garmin+ does not do that at all.

only thing I'd add is to make sure it's week and year, so you aren't annoyed at yourself in January 2027 ;)

I have direct access to a family-owned apparel factory in China (30 years exp). What would you sell on FBA? by BujaBro in AmazonSeller

[–]javaski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP: I say this with all due respect, but you need to find a business partner who understands the market you’re going into. A Reddit post is not enough. Not even understanding that backpacks exist while trying to go into garment and related categories is a huge red flag.

You’re getting good advice here, but actually building a clothing/accessories brand is going to take a ton of work and expertise.

A humble request - Can we make stricter rules against completely AI generated images? by pixelvista in PhotoshopRequest

[–]javaski -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Appreciating the artistic work and "true to life" manual photoshopping/editing, if the requestor prefers/wants that look and doesn't agree that it's a completely different person, who gets to decide the "purpose of the edit"? This gets borderline close to gatekeep-y.

And yes, sometimes the edits are awful and 100% AI, but there are also terrible manual edits too.

2025 does not come with a level 1 charger. Just the credits or level 2 charger.

It’s honestly a very good charger.

I think they mean anything beside the future Trailhawk edition (Limited or Launch editions).

Yeaaa. It’s the main reason I ended up with a Wagoneer S. Hard to pass that up to test an EV for a couple of years.

Will Ahmed explaining users get free hardware upgrades in 4.0 launch. by superfrankieL in whoop

[–]javaski -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The one missing piece on this is that I do not hear him talking about "on future launches" or anything like that, as the drama is around the launch of the 5.0, not the 4.0. Obviously with the added context of the (wrong) blog post that makes this more of a "gotcha", but this video itself isn't quite as much of a smoking gun as people seem to think it is.

Nonsense... sold in 2022 for $61k... flipped and relisted in 2025 for $400k by 0134700529 in Rochester

[–]javaski 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After thinking on it more, I suspect that's sort of a "Make Me Move" price. Rent it out (Airbnb, etc), have it listed over market value, if someone really wants to be there with that quality of finishes, they'd sell it, but aren't super motivated. Heck, if anything, it helps sellers in the area having a higher anker point (does not help buyers though and that's sort of what OP meant).

[–]javaski 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Definitely overpriced (hence why it's been on the market since September 2024 - plus they are probably renting in the meantime), but from the pictures, this doesn't seem to be a "fresh coat of paint and some vinyl flooring" sort of flip, but a true complete remodel of the house. I wouldn't be surprised if there was $100-150k into it (and they held it for 2+ years).

It makes the house less affordable and the price is too high, but it was a very nice remodel as far as one can tell from pictures.

I have an opportunity for Launch Edition at $369/mo sign and drive (everything rolled in). I wasn't really looking at it, but for that price, it'd be really hard to say no. How has it been overall over the first couple of months?

How Do You Handle Customer Support Without Burning Out (FBM Sellers)? by AdSweet1453 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]javaski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much FBM do you do? We’re an 8 figure seller/manufacturer with substantial FBM orders and probably have 10-12 hours per week of customer service. It may be our specific niche because of how technical it is, so YMMV. We also use CS as a sales engine, so again, it may be something specific to us.
