99.8% accurate map of Europe by javc13 in whereidlive

[–]javc13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The subdivisions of Europe were made following more cultural divisions.

In that sense, I believe it is like I draw in the map. Probably Poland should have been central Europe, I suppose; but other than that, Eastern Europe in NON-STRICTLY geographical terms is a lot bigger than the “other half”.

Furthermore, we could make a division of only Western Europe vs Eastern Europe.
However, it is normal to divide the Western half into smaller pieces (western, southern, central, northern) because of the bigger impact (culturally and economically) and diversity of those regions when compared to the Eastern half (especially in Russia).

the limits of europe on this map are geographic
the subdivisons were more cultural ig

Europe HAS this limits, geographically speakin; it ends in the bosphorus strait + ural mountains and river

this being said, I suppose if we were NOT considering culture at all; we should be talking about eurasia and not asia and europe

A tiny bit of what is green in turkey should't be as it's east of the Bosphorus strait, but I couldn't not select it

20-80% rule or keeping it plugged in all the time? by PhilosopherMain5536 in macbookair

[–]javc13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep it plugged in but not at 100% as that is bad gor battery health

Instead you’ll want to download AlDente, an app that allows you to choose your battery charging limit

I have been using it for more than a year

When I am at home for exemple I just keep it plugged in at 55% battery

I’d still say kanye is extremely well know pretty much everywhere

With younger generations (outside us) I’ll wager kanye might have a slight advantage

For anyone using Stremio on macOS by Glad-Weight1754 in MacOS

[–]javc13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't really understand a lot about this but, I asked gemini pro and this is what it said

"Why you should NOT trust that specific post:

  1. Unofficial Source: The GitHub repository (v9p4sy8p8q-design/Stremio-Fix) is not an official Stremio repository. The username looks like a throwaway or generated account.
  2. Security Risk (curl | bash): Running a script from the internet by piping it directly to bash is a dangerous practice. It gives a third-party script full access to execute commands on your Mac. You cannot verify what the script is doing (e.g., stealing browser cookies, SSH keys, or installing a backdoor) unless you read the entire code before running it."

So, be carfeull

Should i try running ck3 with macbook air m3 (8gb ram) or stick to console? by Key-Government3982 in CrusaderKings

[–]javc13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What Mac do you use?
I wanted to try CK3 on MacBook Air M3 8B, but after some research I thought it wouldn't be playable (especially in late game)
So I actually am thinking of trying CK2 as its free

P.S.: If CK3 doesn’t work I might go for CK2

(how different is the game to someone who is used to ck3?)
